YCRHC is ok, if you were a member 10 years ago its about the same today. I've been a member off and on for about eight years. The only updated equipment is the cardio machines. Old does not mean bad but some of the gear is in dire need of replacement. This is also not a cheap club expect to pay 30% more than the competition but I think the cost does keep the membership small so its not completely packed during peak hours. It's surprisingly dirty for the older more affluent clientele the club caters, there are used towels all over the floor and in the showers on the men's side. The pool is clean in the morning but gets pretty dirty latter on it's being used constantly which is good but it would be a lot better if the outside pool was large enough for lap swimming and heated like In-Shape pools. Plus, if you are a lap swimmer there are only two lanes that you can really swim in due to the rounded shape of the pool. Also, during the day the pool is taken over by older water aerobics types who have told me to slow down so I don't make waves and ruin there perms. If you swim laps in the morning you need to show up at least 15 minutes before the club officially opens there are two elderly swimmers/water walkers who have keys to the facility and try to take the only two usable lap lanes. If your there they have to let you in and if your fast you can beat them to the pool they will give you mean looks but it turned into a game for me. Unfortunately, there are not really and great gyms in Yuba City either they are full of gang bangers or they will not actually let you work out (Planet Fitness) so considering the competition YCRHC is ok.

More than 20 years later, we decided to visit our hometown of yuba City after moving away, and come down to the racquet club. Even still, the quality of the gym and the customer service is absolutely stellar. Terry was very welcoming and Ashley was kind and helpful. Can't wait to visit again!! A+++

Tennis. Hot tube. Swimming Pools. Weight Lifting and other excercise equipment. Plus Much More. An upscale place... VERY Expensive.

We left In-Shape for YCRC and what a great decision it was for us as a family. I liked In-Shape but we didn't feel like it was a home for our entire family. Here, we love the flexibility of all the swim options and the amazing child care facility. It is a little pricier but worth every cent. Family time to us is priceless🙌🏽💁🏽

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
