The Sebastian, FL. Walmart is the best Walmart in Indian River County in my opinion. The cleanliness, the customer service and atmosphere is outstanding. However, this Walmart, like the rest, has one major flaw. After 9PM, they force you to use the self checkout registers. If you are lucky, there will be ONE person available at the regular registers to "ring-out' your groceries and products but don't hold your breath. Customers beware! Walmart has started a new, sneaky, unwritten policy to "funnel and force" customers into doing all of the "checkout" work themselves. And, they don't care if you are young, old, healthy, injured or sick, you WILL do the backbreaking work of scanning and bagging your own items if you venture into the store after 9PM. And the thing that is beyond my comprehension is that WE do nothing about it and act as if this is NORMAL. This is NOT normal. This is preposterous, dangerous and a bullying type of mentality by the Walmart Management and Ownership. We need to stop this before someone gets hurt doing the back-bending work that THEY get paid to do.

Only after 9pm or later gets five stars. If you like having the store to yourself go late. Employees everywhere to help you find what ever you want. All the new clearance at the lowest prices are available to the late shopper. Start in bakery walk towards deli clearance is on left. At deli make left all clearance bakery items in gront milk. Walk with the wall to your right around the store you'll see every item on clearance. Many items .50 to 15.00

A good stop. Quick visit for a few items. Found all and a quick self-checkout. Clean restrooms. Can't beat price on poinsettia for our vacation week front porch. Helpful cashiers in self-checkout.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
