I shop here a lot as it is convenient and near where I live. The prices are as competitive as possible. I like the self-check out for quick in and out experience. I do not like the people that they hire as greeters as they turn their back to you to avoid greeting you and do not make you feel welcome. These same greeters are quick to ask you to see your receipt before you exit with your groceries again without even greating you first. I am sure this puts many people off as I know it does me as I am big on customer service. The greeters that they hire do not share the warmth of a friendly greeting in their value system for the most part.

Much better than the garland I-30 location, layout is much different but that is too be expected of each location. Staff is polite if you can find them and they don't check your receipt when you walk out like the garland location does. Feels like you are more respected here and not treated like a criminal.

The prices you see on the shelf are not what you pay at the register. Very unprofessional management. Employees that work at this Walmart are more focused on texting then doing their job. Just being honest.

C'mon it's Walmart ! Over half the merchandise isn't priced in the canned goods, paper goods, or house wares in the grocery department.... Or if the price is there it's not even close to the correct items. Check out's are backed up six and seven deep without any of the "help workers" you may have seen advertised on TV, or in the stores I get to in the more affluent areas. Only four ( yes 4 ) checkout registers open and it was a Saturday at 2:30 in the afternoon. Someone should tell the migrants waiting to cross the Tex-Mex border and they would probably run back home !

They should consider having competent employees in the electronics section, or at the minimum, employees who are not hostile to being asked for assistance. Or better yet- have more than one employee there because one person is simply not enough.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
