This Walmart, #3226, treats its employees like criminals. They have audio and video surveillance watching customers close and their employees closer. I used to work for them. They are cut throat. The manager, Bob Young, threatened to fire me if I tried to change my work availability in order to go to church. Don't ever consider working for this place. Management is awful, they treat customers bad and employees worse, especially Bob Young (store manager) and Chris (Co-manager). They violated my civil rights as an employee. In addition they schedule employees to work late and then have them come in the next morning. There is no compassion or understanding in Wal-Mart. This is a company that worships the dollar and cares nothing about its people. The business model you practice is bad. I look forward to seeing you go out of business.

Had an amazing experience picking up my groceries at this Walmart. Pedro Velásquez was kind, efficient and fast! He even brought out candy to my son. Such a hard worker and had a smile the moment he approached us. Very pleased!

Nicer location than others I've been. As usual you can find pretty much anything you're looking for at Wal-Mart.

Wanted to park my RV motorhome over night when traveling. Did so last year. Wanted to double check it was still allowed. Employee in customer service said NO , NOT ALLOWED. I called back for Manager. He said ABSOLUTELY, NO PROBLEM. Very professional and courteous. Clean store.

Slowest Walmart ever. Only one register open and everyone is waiting. Good luck finding someone to help you in electronics.

About Katy, Texas

Katy is a city in the U.S. state of Texas. It is the Greater Katy area, itself forming the western part of the Greater Houston metropolitan area. Homes and businesses may have Katy postal addresses without being in the City of Katy. The city of Katy is approximately centered at the tripoint of Harris, Fort Bend, and Waller counties. Katy had a population of 21,894 at the 2020 U.S. census, up from 14,102 in 2010. First formally settled in the mid-1890s, Katy was a railroad town along the Missouri–Kansas–Texas (MKT) Railroad which ran parallel to U.S. Route 90 (today Interstate 10) into downtown Houston. Katy obtained its name when the MKT Railroad dropped its Missouri waypoint and the junction became known as the KT stop. The fertile floodplain of Buffalo Bayou, which has its source near Katy, and its tributaries made Katy and other communities in the surrounding prairie an attractive location for rice farming. Beginning in the 1960s, the rapid growth of Houston moved westward along ... Read More

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
