This is a great Walmart. It's a little smaller than some of the others in town, but it has everything it's bigger brother's have without all of the people. I would recommend going a little out of your way and go here.

This Walmart is always very clean which is great. You can find some things at this store that we can't find at our local store. The cashiers are really friendly too which makes your shopping experience that much better. The single bad thing about the store is no price scanners. Like, not one in the store. Luckily you can now use the Walmart app to check in store prices on almost everything. I'm sure that some customers don't know that though and would like to have a couple price scanners in the store.

This is my local Walmart. I of course like this store. Has all I need in one place. However I do just want to say, their customer service is pretty bad. There are a few employees that are always excellent, very friendly, I go directly to their lines no matter how long the line is just to get some good service. I can't say the same of the rest...they are unbearable. No greeting when you get to them, no greeting after the transaction, no real interaction at all really. If the price is wrong...forget about addressing it, it's such a huge issue for them to correct it and they always cop an attitude about the whole ordeal. I won't go into the night shift other than you can expect to get blatantly ignored if you need assistance of ANY kind. I've worked retail and believe me I know some days are long and customers can be difficult, but when a customer goes out of their way to be kind and decent...this is not the service they should receive. This is why the self checkout option is booming and everyone else goes to locally owned small grocery stores whenever possible.

Typical Walmart never any cashiers. They should give a discount if you do self checkout since you are doing their job

The cleanest, most aesthetic looking walmart in Lafayette Parish. Organized and clean looking. Ambassador location has a long way to go to attain the look and feel of this one. Lighting is not harsh either.
