I have loved my experience with Debi and Lora in the care of my son. They are caring and knowledgeable. I'm grateful to have their help!

Recommended by Social worker at hospital. It sounded too good to be true. They deliver all of the supplies, send nurses everyday to check on hospice patient, bring in the prescriptions, etc. Help us and the dying patient get through this difficult time. This was NOT the experience we had. The delivery of bed, matterss etc. was late and the person delivering did not know how to put the bed together or hook up the oxygen. He had to call someone and I had to help him. I already had enough stress getting 24 hour care set up and did not need this added on top. The nurse came an hour late due to a car accident. This is understandable but not coming with any supplies is NOT. I had to go out and purchase supplies needed everything from diapers to Toothettes, I had no idea what these even were! Then when I returned she tells me the VNA will pay if I go back to the two pharmacies and tell them to give me my money back and charge them instead!!! Not happening this already took over an hour. Furthermore she says they only visit a couple of times a week....not the care I was expecting at all. I have heard so much about how compassionate and caring Hospice is but I can tell you that was not my experience. The Care givers I hired from another agency were the true Angels. I know I would not consider this hospice agency again. They even had the nerve to leave an envelope with the funeral home to give to us. Believe it or not it was a letter asking for a donation....unbelievable. I thought it would be a sympathy card but nope...just wanted money...I am sure there a some great agencies out there but from my experience this is not one of them.

THIS IS NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR ACTUALLY NEGATIVE 10 STARS!! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! I JUST HAD A NURSE JUST LEAVE AFTER ROLLING HER EYES AT ME AND SHAKING HER HEAD! SHE IS UNEDUCATED AND RUDE, I HAVE BEEN ALONE AFTER SURGERY AND NO ONE HAS HELPED ME AT ALL! AND WHEN I SAID ANYTHING SHE WOULD SHUT ME DOWN EVEN WHEN SHE WAS WRONG! NO ONE HAS EVEN BOTHERED TO FIND OUT WHY AFTER 9 DAYS AFTER SURGERY I STILL HAVE NOTHING FOR THE PAIN! I WOULD LIKE TO RIP OUT THEIR UTERIUS AND TUBES AND CERVIX AND GIVE THEM AN ATTITUDE AND TELL THEM THAT I AM ONLY HERE TO TAKE YOUR VITALS!!! DO NOT GO THRU THIS AGENCY THEY ARE A JOKE!!

Confusion, poor communication and lack of attention to what they are contracted to provide patients. Some services are contracted out and are not direct employ of VNA so they have no idea if the service is happening or not. What a disservice to the patients that depend on these services for necessary care.

In the beginning they were great. Now they are not so great. Nurses don't communicate with each other. Supplies not being ordered. When a different nurse comes is like they are clueless. They don't know how to take blood or put in foley cather. They tell you I will take a pic and send it to the wound nurse will see what she thinks . Six weeks later still waiting to hear from the wound nurse. So disappointing. Looking for new services for my mom. Never heard from the wound nurse and my mom got a bacteria on her tailbone. Thanks VNA for not caring.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
