I'll just make it honest.... I've loved this place with Warkentin for years now. Chiropractic is excellent. 5 stars on that. Medical has been off and on good and average over the years. I've seen many docs come and go, some great - some not so great. However, I'm unfortunately likely to find somewhere else to go as lately it seems the office has been disorganized. I couldn't even get my lab results. Then, I have a family member calling me because they're calling them about me instead of calling ME. Now I can't refill my meds without a follow-up, yet again the communication is terrible. Call. ME. Your doc is great, it's great going in to see her, but my God organize the office, communication, and records better. Please....

I originally went to Verve Wellness 6 years ago after severely hurting my lower back at work. I give them all the credit in the world for getting me back to work as quickly as possible. The way all their departments (Chiropractic, medical, massage, etc.) work together to heal (not just treat) is something you can't find anywhere else. Not only was the treatment well above all my expectations, the assistance with dealing with insurance on the admin side was phenomenal as well. This is truly a one stop shop for anything health related. Verve is always my first point of contact with anything medical. I trust them with myself, my wife and kids. (I have never trusted our medical system at all) I truly found a friend in the medical industry that I trust wholeheartedly. Thank you all for all you do and giving us a place that makes us feel welcome and relaxed. I refer my friends, family and colleagues here every opportunity I have. Thanks to Dr. Dave and all the excellent staff! We love you guys!

Dr. Grace Haynes is an exceptional doctor. She has a way of making you feel like family. She shows she cares by listening, asking questions and involving you in your care. I dont know what I would do without her during this time where my health has been a challenge to say the least. Thank you Dr. Haynes for your knowledge and compassion.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
