When I came to Dr. Rachel Burnette, I had very little hope in feeling better. I had completely forgotten what it felt like to feel normal. I knew I had to get healthier but didn't know where to start, if it was worth it or if it was even possible. Or if I should just accept life for how it was and stop whining. In the past, I had researched various hormones and precursors, their effects within the body, whether or not to take with food, etc. It ended up being too complicated to attempt my own treatment plan. My regular doctor made life more bearable by prescribing me a benzodiazepine years ago. I eventually began self medicating with alcohol once the benzo stopped helping, to the point my depression and anxiety were out of control. It only took one visit with Dr. Burnette and my life changed completely in 2 weeks. The visit was comprehensive. She spent 2 hours going over my paperwork with me and coming up with a treatment plan. She CARES and she LISTENS. She took all the guesswork out of what drugs I needed that a regular PCP just will not take the time to do. I just had my follow up appointment and had to refrain from hugging her because she saved my life. I'm sober. My cravings are GONE. My depression is so much better- there really are no words when you feel this change. My anxiety is much better as well. This is after just 2 weeks. It's a completely different experience than a regular clinic, though I should note they are actual physicians as well as naturopaths at Utah Natural Medicine. I urge anyone struggling or even hoping to improve substance abuse or mental health disorders to visit the clinic. My life has been saved and I know many others who would benefit. You don't have to suffer! It's just that easy.

Pathetic so called Doctor. I wouldn’t waste my spit if they were on fire. I had a serious medical condition and was treated like I was their personal bank; charging absurd amounts of money to be treated with parasites. A total joke.

I was recommended by a friend who had similar health issues as I did. I’ve been seeing Dr. Kate for five years and she has been knowledgeable and kind. The office staff have always been welcoming and friendly. I get great care at Utah Natural Medicine!

I have been a patient of Dr. Rachel Burnett for about 7 years. I am retired and in better health than ever. I have optimal preventive care from Dr. Burnett. I had previously been on medication I no longer needed. I was having side effects from the meds. Dr. Burnett uncovered the issues. Our extended family have also had remarkable results from this doctor. I highly recommend Utah Natural Medicine.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
