You’re better off going somewhere off campus. Last semester, I went because I was having a mono flare up. My neck was sore, I couldn’t turn my head, and my tonsils were swollen. They sent me out telling me I just had a cold. I’m sick now and tried scheduling an appointment with them so I could get looked at and have an excuse note for my classes that require them. I was told that they don’t provide excuses. I was also told that even though I have insurance, I would have a copay billed to my student account. That’s when I told them that I didn’t want to make an appointment if no excuse was going to be provided, resulting in me getting an “okay goodbye” and being hung up on. I find it ironic how we have a facility that is meant to provide “healthcare” to students, but won’t provide students with excuse notes needed for classes that need valid proof of their absences.

Awful, awful service and communication by the medical clinic. The lady i spoke with today was very rude and not helpful whatsoever and told me that paperwork that I had already filled out was not processed, and then proceed to tell me it was a waste of time and that my knee injury would not be approved by the Dean. I was in a knee brace for a week and was not able to walk on my own, and I was told by a nurse, a doctor and the lady at the desk of the medical clinic that my teachers would be sent documentation that I was excused on March 29th, 2019.

To my mind, the health center at UD is not as bad as described in other reviews, at least based on my experience. The staff and nurses were respectful and kind to me whenever I went there and they tried to work with me and help even if I did not have an appointment. The treatment however was a bit away from my expectations. You may go there with lot of symptoms and receive no prescriptions. I am not sure if that's the way it is in US medical treatment systems or is that something specific about UD health center though. Any ways, it is a good place to start with if you are not feeling good!

I hope that I can give them 0 star rating. Even if I have some unpleasant experience with them, I still give them moderate-level rating. I have some problems with nurse , but I like the Doctor G and he is my primary physician and he is very nice person. So I give you 3 star rating finally. They nurses and front desk staffs are very terrible and unhelpful and rude to me, especially those front desk staffs are really arrogant , lazy and did not show their respect for me. I still remember I have had rash on my leg and waist for long time lasting more than 2 months from August to October, 2018. I never intentionally wasted medical resources and I tried my best to use doctor appointment opportunity wisely and smartly even if I come to student health services very frequently because I actually needed urgent assistance to get rid of recurring rash on my skin for long period. My rash always come back and faded away and then come back again. I did not know for sure why that happened. I did not think they nurse and staff should have felt annoyed and uncomfortable with my frequent visit because truly I have had some diseases to be treated at all. Even if I come to student health services more frequently than other students, I do not think I did anything inappropriate which caused nurse to feel angry. But they actually told me I should never come to student health services and they claimed they have never seen such a ridiculous student like me and it seems like they do not want to serve me anymore. But the doctor G is very nice and Doctor G is very helpful and patient when he becomes my primary physician. I like the doctor G's competence and professional attitude.

This place tried to keep me from registering from my classes by insisting on having multiple extra tests performed or else they would keep a hold on my account. This is after I filled out a document and followed all of the directions properly. In addition they charged my account for this procedure, and only gave me an appointment the day after my registration opens, putting me a disadvantage in picking classes. Overall horrible experience.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
