Called this office to send them free samples of product and Cindy has a nasty mouth and is not a nice person at all, she called back from her personal phone and used some extremely nasty words that I wouldn't dare to repeat wouldn't recommend this place to my worst of enemies.

Went in for neck injury and knee injury. 2 years old, numbness in fingers, migraines. possible torn ligament in the knee. I am a skeptic by nature, I try to remain open to things because I am just wise enough to know that intelligence and knowledge are not the same thing, and I don't have unlimited access to either. I almost hesitate to say what I am about to say because I do not want anyone to stop reading and pass on this facility because it has made a night and day difference in my life. I think for people like me, the initial things I mention here could deter you, but I only listed them so that you would be willing to look past preconceived biases because it is worth it. The day I first walked into this location, I was initially taken aback, I am allergic to dogs and they had a dog, they also had eastern style decor, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just wasn't what I expected. I expected typical commercial doctors office decor. While I am a bit allergic to the dog, It is subtle, and the dog is awesome. I am brought in to speak with the doctor and he not only is sympathetic to my unspoken concerns of proposed treatments but he validates options I felt initially comfortable with while expressing his desire to try alternative methods in a very non-confrontational optional presentation. This made me feel much safer and I liked his approach. I am into doing things the natural way, but I can get anxiety when it comes to trying something new which I don't understand. However, I have had a lot of bad experiences with conventional medical tactics which only added too or swapped issues for me. I decided I wanted to try the doctors more natural methods, before considering surgery, as well as see the resident chiropractor as a potential solution for disc protrusions and numbness in my fingers. I was given a fair warning that it will take time to figure out exactly what was the cause, I just needed to commit to the visits until its worked out. I was hesitant as that seemed like a gimmick but I also have the desire to go against my skeptical side and try new things. I did get an MRI, by Docs referral, and confirmed at least there was an issue, but not necessarily one which would cause the full experience I was beset with. I started the therapy he suggested, though never pushed for and allowed me choice.. The skeptic came out during the treatment and I was trying not to laugh but I couldn't help it, I was experiencing acupressure for the first time. I didn't expect results, I expected nothing for the acupressure but did hope from the re-alignment. Went home and noticed the next morning that my fingers were not numb. Each time I went back I left with clear different results, something was changing and we had begun to narrow down the symptoms to point to the cause. Somewhere between acupressure and chiropractic theory I am in much better condition after suffering for nearly 2 years. Its only been a a month and about 6 visits for me and I can sleep now without fingers fluxing between extreme burning, hurting or numbness. Indeed "the proof is in the pudding" The staff there is awesome. Everyone has a unique personality, all of which are friendly and personable. They seem to share knowledge and work as a cohesive team. Something else I noticed, I'm also very allergic to artificial scents, free and clear for me at home, they do not use any there. This is a huge deal for me, they confirmed this as two of the offices employees also are allergic to artificial scents. There was no smell at all. Plus 1 point. I am told It is a rescue dog. Instant brownie points for me as a lover of animals. Dogs decrease stress levels in humans, I guess unless its trying to eat you or you have developed an irrational fear of dogs, but this dog is so even tempered, only approaches when you show a desire to be greeted. That said, this place is as clean as any other doctors office, no joke.

Dr. Rekar is the man! He really knows his stuff and goes above and beyond for his clients, more than any other doctor I've experienced.

I highly recommend Dr. David Rekar, MD, and his practice to everyone who seeks comprehensive, successful, and lasting therapy. Dr. Rekar's doctors and staff are kind, concerned and helpful, and always stand ready to make sure I receive the very best treatment and am as comfortable as possible. Dr.Luke Mattison's (chiropracter) adjustments are truly brilliant. My schedule didn't allow seeing Dr. Barrass as often, but his help was amazing as well. In addition, Dr. Rekar's practice has a wonderful, restful atmosphere which is conducive to healing physically, as well as spiritually and emotionally. His extensive and detailed knowledge of nutrition and diet, to better aid the healing process, is amazingly on target as well. At all times during my long seven month treatment and recovery from a serious car accident which totaled my vehicle and damaged my body, I have been treated effectively with insight and professionalism. Jim and Mike and Cindy Rekar--the other great people at this practice, have, without exception, shown nothing but care and concern during a very difficult time in my life. I just cannot say enough good things, or recommend them enough to family, friends and colleagues. E.D.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
