They are always helpful. Came to get an adjustment while my regular chiropractor is on a mission trip

Review by John Coyle

Most convenient chiro around. Have been visiting The Joint for about 6 months now. Last week I was adjusted by Dr. Patrick for the first time. He showed me a stretch I'd never been shown in all my years going to different chiropractors. My back feels better than it has in years.

After having given this office several months of opportunities to help alleviate some of the chiropractic issues that I have, I found that their treatments are ineffective at best and damaging/painful at worst. The initial visit was no more than a questionnaire with no real physical assessment. With each subsequent visit they would perform the same maneuvers, most times ignoring any issues that I came in for. At the beginning of the treatment they would gather information about any new problems only to follow that up with the same thrust to the mid-thoracic vertebrae, then the twist to the lumbar region (even though it was stated that area was in immense pain), followed by a repeat in trying to get movement to the thoracic region, lastly the cervical popping (which brought more pain than relief). This was every single visit. The only variation would be if I specifically asked for something outside of their typical regimen. From my experience with them, this office does not treat the individual patient. They acted more like a fast food chain trying to cycle through their patients quickly rather attempting to provide actual relief. This may have been just my experience with them and hopefully for others it has different. It's only due to their friendly staff that they received a second star. Their staff is courteous, but the therapy is substandard.

I feel like this place is sort of a scam. Always trying to get you to sign up for monthly plans. I also came in and told one of the chiropractors I had a herniated disc in my lumbar spine and she twisted and cracked my back, something I don’t think you’re supposed to do with a slipped disc, needless to say after my visit my back felt worse

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
