I visited the Willow Lawn location on a Sunday for the alignment special they were having. I was experiencing an achy lower back so I decided to give this a try to see if it would help. I went back and talked to the Chiropractor about what was going on with my lower back among other things. She had me do a few exercises and then did an alignment on me. I left and by the next morning I could barely move or walk!! I had to go to my physician and get medication to ease my intense back and muscle spasms. She told me that going to the chiropractor made it worse and I feel that the chiropractor should not have manipulated my back if she knew it was going to make things extremely worse! I am still in pain and have missed a full week of work all because of a bad decision to get an “alignment” which I now regret. I really wish the chiropractor was more thorough and would not have given me an alignment if she thought it could make matters worse? LESSON LEARNED

I had a really good experience today at The Joint chiropractic at Willow Lawn. It was $29 for my initial appointment and adjustment. The facility was clean and welcoming and the staff were friendly and professional. She got my neck unjammed and I'm on my way to feeling great. I signed up for 4 adjustments a month for $69 which is the best price I have found. Spinal care for cheaper than a cell phone plan. And if I need any extras they're only $10 a pop (hehe get it?) after I use up my four. They had punch card options or a pay per visit option (which is still only $40 a visit). I am going back on Friday for another good cracking and I'm thrilled about this.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
