The doctor listened to all of my concerns and addressed all of my concerns. Very kind and caring staff. I am definitely recommending the services to anyone in need of a great chiropractor and a great adjustment. I look forward to my next visits!!!

This should be ZERO stars. Today, 1/3/19, I was involved in a minor accident (someone rear ended me) - my car has no damage to repair and I wasn’t injured. I have been told by every chiropractor I’ve ever seen to get in as soon as you can after an accident. So I went to what was my favorite place - The Joint Mint Hill. I paid and took a table. In the spirit of honesty I readily admitted I was in a minor fender bender and this was precaution. I was told to stand up immediately and asked if I had received X-rays. I said no and then I was told I could never receive services at The Joint again until I got X-rays. I can not just go get un-nexessary X-rays that will cost 100s. On top of that what kind of X-rays, full body? I was embarrassed and made to feel terrible. I was turned away and told never to return (unless I get X-rays which I don’t need at the moment so I’m not getting). If they’ll make me feel horrible on a bad day, they’ll do it to you. I don’t buy their pushed packages so this may have been an underlying issue and a chance to get rid of me. I just don’t understand. This was my favorite place but now I can never go back, after today I don’t want to so I guess it works out but it’s shameful. BE CAREFUL people of what you say, they may kick you out! ——————- Response to Owner: I was not injured - still not injured. No one ever asked to see X-rays prior to treating me when I first came. Why this visit, because I said I was rear-ended in a low speed collision where my vehicle wasn’t even damaged. I don’t buy it at all. If it was for my safety, getting an adjustment would have been more beneficial. Crummy customer service seems more likely the culprit. Thanks for the blanket PR response.

Very displeased with my visit. I walked in, had to fill out paperwork again because I haven’t visited in over a year because when I went before I never felt like I was being adjusted, so okay- did paperwork & waited. Then I get called back, am speaking with the doctor & he tells me I have to sign a form, okay- that takes maybe 10 seconds. While doing that he’s calling another patient back & begins their adjustments- I find this rude as I already waited & thought my time was there. During the other patients adjustments - the “doctor” was laughing & then trying not to laugh. I could tell it wasn’t the patient because he was the one letting out sighs. Maybe they knew each other? I’m not sure but that struck me as very unprofessional & somewhat disturbing. The doctor then comes back - takes my temp & my blood pressure & says my blood pressure is too high, i have to have water & lie down before my exam... i’ve never been told by any doctor my bp was too high so i informed him that & informed him i didn’t have time & left. While I don’t think the women at this location before were great, they were at least professional. If i started to be seen, i don’t expect that to just stop because someone else comes in & i don’t expect to hear laughter - friends or not, it’s weird.

Went back a second time to this location and the chiropractor Amanda was in again. Got zero adjustment for the second time in middle back and neck. Lower back was already semi loose and adjusted just by getting in correct position. Did not line me back up like previous chiropractors. Really unfortunate because chiropractor at Arboretum was great. Said to myself before I went in today too that if she was working I was going to pass on the adjustment but in the end didn’t want to be rude but now I’m just disappointed that I wasted one of my passes.

My husband was in a lot of pain and after one treatment, he was feeling better! A follow-up visit gave more improvement! I would definitely recommend The Joint, service was quick and friendly, and the doctor was knowledgeable and helpful.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
