I tried this place twice when they first opened a couple years ago. I figured for the price and convenience, I got what I paid for. I've been a regular of another clinic but after receiving a free adjustment in my email on my birthday, I revisited The Joint last month. Thanks to Dr. Merchant, they have won me back as a customer. I went back again today and I feel as if I am floating after my visit!! Thank you Dr. Merchant ✌

This was my first visit to a chiropractor ever. He literally said that he was going to only adjust my bottom half because there were “people in the lobby” I sold him the reason I was there was mainly my back so he did the 3 adjustments you see on tv and then said okay stand up and see how that feels after I told him it still didn’t feel better and that I should get x rays because He can’t help, there are other people waiting. Nothing was explained to me, and really nothing was done. Yeah it is cheap price wise, but it was rushed and cheap quality wise also

The receptionist was very sweet. The doctor who was there 3/25 around 2 was rather unprofessional. He took two people who came in after me. Not only that but he made eye contact with me but didn't acknowledge me. I walked out of course..... There was no "Hey, I'll be with you in a bit". The receptionist called back to explain that it was because the others are established patients and that theirs wouldn't take as long. This information would have been nice before waiting 30+ minutes of my time. Besides the point. It may have been different if the doctor said "I'll be with you in a bit".... But he didn't. Not only that but he had the receptionist call my phone when I left. He could have been a big boy and called himself...... However, he had the receptionist do it. Imagine that. Never have I felt such blatant discrimination in professional (or unprofessional) business. I've recieved better customer service at McDonald's for that matter. Nonetheless, I went to a different chiro on 50th. The dude was super cool. I think his name is Dr. K. Needless to say, he has my business for at least the next year.

Had horrible neck pain for 2 days and had no idea what to do. I couldn't move my head and was in constant pain. I went in, everything was quick and easy... the next day I woke up and was in minimal pain, as was to be expected. I feel so much better and to top it off, the annoying back pain ive experienced for years now is nonexistent! I 100% recommend them to anyone with neck and back pain.

This review is for Dr. Adams. I visit Lubbock frequently for work. I live in Houston so may be spoiled on joint doctors but my adjustment on Monday was the worst I have ever had. He barely did anything and I’m not sure of his techniques compared to others. That visit was not worth my time. Another doctor is there that is decent so I would recommend calling ahead and making sure it’s not Dr. Adams. To be honest, neither doctor is as good as mine back home but unfortunately this is the only Joint location for Lubbock. If I can avoid it, I won’t be coming back.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
