My wife and I use to love coming to this location. However, since they have changed the staff, every one that works there is very push about memberships and pretty passive aggresive. The receptionists are the worst about it. You come in for an adjustment, not to have their sales pitch shoved down your throat repeatedly. You have to fill out a new form every time you come in unless you get on a plan, which is completely unnecessary and just another way of urging you to get on one. Also, getting in with a chiropractor who will take their time and not jar your body is very hit or miss. I would use this place as a last resort ONLY. Disappointed.

I've now been injured from a botched adjustment at the Joint since March 3, 2019 without contact or support from the Joint. I have been calling for weeks, and have only received callbacks from them late in the evening and from restricted numbers. I was contacted by who is supposedly the CEO last night, but they called from a restricted number after 5 p.m. while I was in the middle of eating dinner. I didn't answer as it was restricted and in the evening past business hours. If I had known it was them I would have answered, but with so many robocallers today, how is person to know that it's a real person calling when it's so late and restricted? Now I am having pains that I have never had in my life and I am unable to work, or participate in my daily life. I just wish they would get a hold of me or let me contact them at a reasonable time instead of dodging my calls and only calling at the most inconvenient of times. It seems a little suspicious to only call in the evening after normal business hours, and if not that, very unprofessional. I called the receptionist today to discuss the X-rays I have scheduled for on Monday, she told me they were too busy to call me during business hours!

I was left with no choice but to cancel my membership after my husband was badly injured by staff at this location. There is no privacy during visits and other customers will speak directly to your doctor DURING your adjustment, distracting their attention when you need it most. I found The Joint to be reckless and uncaring. Though it is very inexpensive and convenient with walk-ins there is no deal worth risking your health and safety.

This place was so cool! The girl at the front desk was very welcoming and talkative. Dr. Joel was friendly and informative. This was my first time getting adjusted so I was nervous but the appointment went by smoothly. I will come again. I got taller lol.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
