This is the 4th time I have tried to come to this location (I normally go to west Caldwell, which I LOVE) - today there was just no doctor there all day! Other times the doctor is either not there or they have decided to close early for no posted reason. I had to cancel my membership because I keep being charged monthly $80 for services I am not able to even use! I would not use this location if you are looking for a place that is reliable and consistent. EDITED THAT I AGAIN TRIED TO COME HERE 3/21 AND THEY AGAIN HAD NO DOCTOR! Bravo guys!

I came in needing an adjustment because of pain in my neck. My neck and shoulders have been in my pain for a long time and I've been going to the Joint for 2 years. So the notes in the computers are there to explain the problem. I've explained where the pain was and yet Dr. Zach did almost nothing to adjust the problem areas. He kept working on my legs which have no problems. I asked him nicely to adjust my neck and he said I don't like to over stimulate. Entire chiropractic practice is to make adjustments. He made no ajustments and when I asked he simply refused. His explanation, "I don't like to over stimulate." But you did nothing! You did not stimulate the area at all! I really want my time and money back. And worst, I am still in pain .

I have never written a bad review about a business nor do I want to hurt any local businesses, but be very wary of the Joint Chiropractic and any other kind of chain/multi-store small businesses like this. I went in for 2 treatments with no improvements in Oct '17 and an MRI revealed 2 herniated cervical discs. I obviously stopped chiropractic care and assumed that my 1 month plan would expire when it was up. I was explained on signing up that the $80 per month wellness plan was the fee for one month. Maybe they didn't explain clearly enough that it would be AUTOMATICALLY renewing, because I was in a lot of pain when I initially went in, and I just wanted to get into treatment. Unbeknownst to me I was still being charged automatically for the past three months. When I called and spoke with Diana the store manager, she was sorry that she was unable to do anything and referred back to the contract that was signed. I was told no refunds allowable, and still billed for 3 months of service totaling $240 that I never even used because I didn't even know I was being billed! I, like many other people these days, have my credit card on auto-pay and these charges weren't picked up as unusual or fraud charges by my bank. I guess shame on me for not reading the contract all the way through or checking my monthly statements, but the Joint Chiropractic did not even lose any effort, time, or service on me as a client. I am usually wary of signing up for any service fearing for such automatic renewal fees, and I feel really scammed out of my hard earned money with my experience with the Joint Chiropractic. I give everyone reading this review a stern warning about the contract that they present. Consider this place more like a gym membership where they hook you in with such contracts and it is up to you as the consumer to get your money's worth. Sorry, but I do not recommend this place or any of their other locations to anyone.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
