Attentive, knowledgeable service and really great gear. I rented an AT setup from The Alpineer while in town over the holidays. Upon arriving for pickup the store was busy, but as soon as I came in Kelly made a point of checking in and letting me know an approximate wait time. He was even quicker than expected, and fitted me for boots while asking about my skiing and backcountry objectives to help decide which skis to take. The boots were comfortable, and the Black Crows I ended up with were by far the most fun and confidence-inspiring AT skis I've ever used. I've also rented mountain bikes there in the summer, with a similar experience of beautiful, well-maintained bikes and friendly service with plenty of trail recommendations. Really impressed.

Best experience I have had buying new boots. The team was obviously busy, with customers in and out, but the team (Cooper and Kelly) took their time and went through every detail to make sure I had the right boot and the right fit. Knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, giving honest opinions on equipment performance and best fit for me. Although I don't live in CB, I now will only buy from the Alpineer. I mean, when locals use this as their "spot" for equipment, you know you are in good hands.

Best gear shop I have ever been to! Not only does Alpineer have great gear, but their customer service and expertise is top notch. Quick story: I broke my boot and it would have been the end of my ski trip, but Alpineer fixed it using parts from a new boot, and they didn't even charge me! I am so thankful to them, and they'll be getting all my business from here on out.

We rented snowshoes for an afternoon hike. After some equipment issues that were resolved, we were happy with our experience at The Alpineer. Kelly, the manager, knows his stuff and does a great job to ensure everyone receives the best customer service.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
