Very professional. Serious. Very smart. My husband and I both see him and appreciate his straight forward approach. I highly recommend him.

Terrible bedside manner. I saw him monthly yet every time it was like he'd never see me before. Hadn't even bothered to look over my chart before coming in so he never knew why I was there. He often spent a good deal of time looking things up on his phone. Didn't offer much information and didn't even respond to many of my comments and concerns. When I complained of fatigue and being unable to walk up stairs without being short of breathe. Despite exercising religious. He said to me and I quote... "MAYBE YOU'RE JUST OUT OF SHAPE." For rude! And completely off base. Despite my symptoms and labs he completely overlooked that I was extremely anemic. Eventually I began looking over my own labs and saw my low hemoglobin. When I mentioned to his assistant/nurse (?) that I was concerned about anemia, she said no your iron is fine. Uhh... Iron is not the only cause of anemia. Even I know that. He ran some labs and when I called to get the results sent to me they stated on them "hold for next appointment" which was 4-6 weeks away. Apparently he was not concerned about them at all. Meanwhile I was so anemic I could barely walk. I took a copy of those very labs to a new doctor, who was extremely concerned and took immediate action. I was hospitalized and given two blood transfusions and diagnosed with cancer. NO I WAS NOT OUT OF SHAPE! 90% OF MY BONES MARROW WAS CANCEROUS! It was a testament to the shape my body was in that I was even still alive and functioning. I spent the next two years fighting for my life, which I nearly lost. But I often wonder how much needless suffering I went through and how much sooner the cancer might have been caught. I am not interested in a lengthy response trying to justify your actions, or lack there of. Or explaining it away by blaming it on a "mismatch of our communication skills". My only hope is that you will learn from this and treat others patients with more thorough compassionate care and genuine concern.

Review by John Galazin

Dr Jacobs has been helping me manage my health by monitoring by blood chemistry every 6 months. I have using Biorestoration for over 12 years. Dr Jacobs recently pointed out that my blood tests indicated some potential problems. The Doctor recommended seeing specialists in the areas that needed attention: possibly surgery: I am very grateful for Dr Jacobs; his professional attention to my health details; and the direction he suggested to me for further examinations. He is thorough in his work and pleasant to work with, a great Doctor.

I suffer from Hashimotos, PCOS and all the other horomone imbalances that are caused when my thyroid isn't taken care of. Dr. Jacobs is thorough in his blood testing to find out what my body really needs. I couldn't get this treatment at my Endo or family doctor and I am very grateful for the answers I've gotten from him. I plan to keep returning for treatment.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
