Review by Positive Vibes

I've been bringing my 9 year old daughter for over 18 months due to an early puberty concern, beginning stages of early breast development. Her pediatrician seemed to think it was normal for an 8 year old to begin puberty, what??!! No!! And especially since our healthy lifestyle (organic clean eating, water filter system, very little chemical products in home, etc) and early puberty just didn't add up. They reluctantly referred us to a pediatric endocrinologist, not wanting nor trusting in western medicine at this point I turned to eastern medicine. It has worked!!!! Kathy is amazing, I didn't know what to expect coming in, I hoped for a miracle, I was desperate. I thought at the very least it would "pause" the process but it not only paused the process but made the little lump in her right breast go away. Yes, it takes more than one session to keep it at bay BUT it's worth my little girls innocence. And we saw results after that 1st session!!! I highly recommended TR Acupuncture clinic. Chinese medicine has been around LONG BEFORE western medicine so that should tell you something. We drive 1.5 hours to get here and we have 3 acupuncturist in our town so that shpuld speak volumes. Kathy is the real deal, I believe her parents and possibly grandparents were acupuncturist as well. So grateful we found this place.

I am so grateful to have found Kathy. My first experience was the successful resolution of seasonal allergies. In Houston!! Then she brought me back to normal functioning after a brain hemorrhage when western doctors told me my impaired functioning was "normal for a damaged brain". With great kindness and skill, she restored me. Also, David is a wonderful Chinese doctor and their son, Dr Cheng Ruan, a Functional Medicine MD, has just opened a clinic worth checking out - TX Center for Lifestyle medicine. A good family to know!!

I was skeptical about acupuncture for over 55 years, until I was out of options short of surgery. Dr. Kathy and Dr. David are incredible. While not every pain resolves, many do. They are both so kind and caring to their patients.

was not happy. I'm suffering from tinnitus and after the first visit they told me I had to come four more visits to have it resolved. Also at the end of the first session they suggested for me to buy their anti-inflammation pills. These pills cause some kind of paranoia the following day. I am not happy. I spend $150 for the first session. $80 for the acupuncture and $70 for these anti-inflammation pills.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
