We stopped by Sutherlin earlier to update prescription on a couple of frames. They would not help us because our doctor's office is one of Sutherlin's partners and we would have to ask our doctor's office to submit our request. The front office staff realized this policy seemed awkward (we do not want to go through our doctor's office) so they went and double checked with the supervisor. Finally the staff came back and asked us to go back to our doctor's office and have that office mail our frames to Sutherlin instead. I don't mind paying for the commission of doctor's office (and would have been happy to pay that directly to Sutherlin) for their "partnership" but I do mind the complete disregard for my time. I would have also appreciated if the manager came out to explain this silly policy personally ....

I've been working with this lab being an optician, and they are incredible! Matt is so kind and always willing to help. All the customer service reps are so helpful, too. The lenses come back gorgeous too! Highly recommend :)

I have had to send my glasses lenses back repeatedly because the lenses have "crazed" where there are tiny lines in the lens causing an awful glare. After sending the damaged lenses back I have had frustration in the fact that this is occurring. The most recent time this happened Bennett Eye Care informed me that this was the last time that the lab was replacing the lenses, as though it's my fault. To get them corrected I was told I had to send in the frames. I did not want to and was 100% against this. Needless to say the frames were sent to the lab as that was my only option therefore against my will. They came back from sutherlin lab with the wrong rx so back they go. Then I finally get them and the frames have been ruined! The shape of the frame has been horribly misshapen from it's original shape. The frames look horrible on my face. I can't wear them bc they make me dizzy! It's the worst experience I've ever had in my life with glasses. I have literally cried bc I can't even wear my expensive glasses! This also happened two years ago with another frame that I loved. I had my fingers crossed that it was a fluke. No it was not. I paid for the expensive AntiReflective Crizal treated polycarbonate lenses & a haunting nightmare is what I got! I will never use either for eye care in the future. And yes I still have the original pretend stock lenses that came with the frames, & no they will not fit inside anymore. Even if the frames are reshapen to match their original shape, the Rx lenses will not work bc the won't have the shape. Lastly, the glasses were absolutely perfect when I got them in December 2017 until the crazed lines showed up stopping me from nighttime driving & daily tasks where lighting would glare, I begged for the lenses to be remade to the exact same thing, and they never were. It's a shame. Until the issue is actually resolved I would not recommend this lab to anyone.

The lenses we get from Sutherlin are the best. We have been getting lenses here for our son since he was five and now all prescription needs for the family are done here. Several times, due to convenience or emergency, we have used other labs. Both times we have had them redone at Sutherlins. I can't say enough about the quality of their product. Very nice staff too!

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
