Dr. Gowda is the kind of doctor I want to clone. You know how you fill out paperwork before the appointment, and then you fill out more paperwork when you go in? Well, Dr. Gowda actually takes the time to Read that paperwork. I find it irritating when I go to the doctor and spend time thoughtfully completing the questionnaires and medical history only to have the nurse ask the Same flippin' questions that are on the paper, and then the doctor asks Again. That's something Dr. Gowda will never put me through and it's appreciated beyond measure. Aside from that, he's knowledgeable and explains things in a simple way, but not so simple as to make you feel belittled. He's given me shots in the neck and was gentle and encouraging the whole way through, talking me through what was happening at each step, and ensuring I was comfortable. He's a top notch doctor. My physical therapy went through a few people and I found that to disrupt the rhythm. I finally ended up with Brittany (sp? - so many versions!) and she is great. She's the kind of therapist who's going to make you work for it because she wants to see you succeed. I appreciate people being nice, but when it comes to PT I want someone who's going to push me. Fortunately she's nice in addition to ensuring you're going to feel your therapy. Moving on to massage therapy, Theo is a perfect fit for me. He can do light pressure, but he can also get in there deep and grind out the gristle. That invasive type of massage is what I need and so few people can achieve it properly, and even less believe me when I say they need to just take my neck and back muscles out, put them through a lasagna pasta machine, and slap 'em back in. Theo believed me and I am thankful for that. He does some neck stretches that feel far better than mechanical traction - he follows the muscles' signs and that's always going to beat a machine. There's something else he does that I call the "twist top" where he can get to the muscle under my scapula - it feels like the muscle is being twisted and the shoulder blade lifts up - it's really cool and better than that, it definitely targets one of my worst pains.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
