Went a couple years back for a massage and adjustment through Groupon. Instead of the massage and what I paid for, the Doctor wanted me get an x Ray without medical necessity. He already began to talk about my availability for long term treatment plans on the first visit when all I came for was a massage and adjustment because I wanted a recovery session from weight lifting. He didn’t do anything on the first visit except for taking an x ray and scaring me by telling me I have a short left leg. He told me he needed time to read over my x-Ray and radiograph to come up with proper “treatment” and I would require a second visit. I was honestly confused because I didn’t want future treatment or plans. I came back for my second visit and again I do not get my massage, instead I get my x Ray reports and he tells me I have scoliosis. All over the reports there are words such as “severe” and “degenerative” and other scare tactic words that intimidated me to sign up for long term treatment. He tells me it’s going to take a long treatment plan and he’s going to contact someone for a heel insert in my left leg. The doctor had already planned the treatment plan and heel lift to use and was asking me about my insurance. First off, I knew I had scoliosis and this was something I had managed with a doctor before and it was mild and I had visited a physical therapist who had said the same thing. It seemed like the doctor was trying to scare me into signing up for a long term treatment plan. Luckily I told them I wasn’t interested and I just wanted my massage. The doctor said the massage would not happen that day and I would have to come back for ANOTHER visit. Till this date, I have not had my massage and I wasted my money on the Groupon for the doctor to take my x ray and tell me about a condition I already knew I had and managed. I would recommend visiting another chiropractor.

Siskin and his staff are incredible. They are extremely professional and friendly, very hard working, and really caring. You can tell Siskin and his team are genuinely concerned with the health of their patients and will go above and beyond for them. Their massages are outstanding and really therapeutic. I really appreciate Dr. Siskin's honesty and his ability to make his patents feel comfortable. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

I am a chiropractor about 2 hours away from Dr. Siskin. I was able to observe his clinic this morning and I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and attention to detail. His staff was very helpful and caring. I would highly recommend consulting this office if you are looking for a chiropractor.

The doctor is really good as well as the people working with him. But don't like that open place concept.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
