This is the only compounding Pharmacy that has a great price for all the compouding needs I have for my patients. I am in City Heights and we are happy to go all the way to Poway. Thanks for always making it smooth and quick for each call in prescription. It is definitely pleasant when insurances are not involved.

Dr. Cutler from San Diego Integrative Medicine sent two Rx for compounded creams to this pharmacy. The pharmacy staff called me several times, leaving messages I could barely understand asking for my credit card. When I called back no one could explain why I should provide my credit card number. A week later, I went in to pick up the meds - they were not ready! Apparently they need a credit card first in case a customer doesn't pick them up. Hmm...OK. The pharmacist assured me the prescriptions would each have different color - it comes in those clicker dispensers yet when I received them - both are blue. In addition to that, the cream is not the consistency it should be. The only positive is free shipping but Good Pharma in PB ships free as well.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
