It's what you would expect in any Safeway. Above average prices, friendly staff and a good selection.

I have experienced the non apologetic, not helpful, snotty attitude of the employees here and I have actually seen others treated that way on almost every visit. I pick up prescriptions for disabled people and can't imagine being sick and disabled, while putting up with bad attitude from employees who are neither sick nor disabled and who's career it is to supposedly help others.

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever experienced! If you are considering using them, don't...

I called in a prescription on Saturday 12-12-15 in the afternoon. My wife and I drove down there about an hour and a half later to pick up a couple of items on our way to a family function. Stopped by the pharmacy on the way out to pick up my prescription and it had been misplaced. After they found it we were told it would be about a 45 minute wait. No apology, no nothing, just take your place at the back of the line and wait. We were not able to wait another 45 minutes so we left. Since I still had enough from the old prescription to get through the next week we figured we would pick it up this week. Today, 12-18-15, I had two more prescriptions to have filled. I dropped them off and notified them that I would like to pick up my prescription from the previous week with these prescriptions. I was told it would be a 30 to 40 minute wait. I understand Friday is a busy day, and an hour and fifteen minutes later they called me to pick up my prescription. They rang up the two prescriptions I dropped of today and gave me the total. I asked for the prescription I had called in last week. I was told it wasn't on the shelf. I said that it should be filled and waiting. After looking it up, I was told that it was on the shelf too long and that it was returned. I reminded them that I told them about that prescription when I dropped the two off earlier, but apparently they didn't look into that. I was asked if I wanted it filled. I asked if I had to wait another hour for that prescription. I was told they were not sure exactly what the wait time was at that point. I said I would go someplace else. I had a similar experience on the misplaced prescription at this location about a year ago. A friend of mine laughed and said it happens to them there frequently. I looked at the reviews and there were none so I'm writing one. If you don't mind spending a few hours waiting on a prescription, plus another hour when they forget to fill yours, go ahead and use them. I'll never go back.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
