Worst excuse for a treatment center. These people are just there to bank. They might as well print money there. Where to begin. They have a "dr" that's only there 3 hrs every other Wednesday. Yet he is in charge of over 700 patients care. That's basically 30 seconds per month of his time per patient. Counselors do little as possible to begin with and admit they have nearly double the legal caseload. Parking....haha. the police regularly sit out at the road giving out tickets by the BOOKLET due to nowhere to park. Small building is in disrepair and not large enough to handle even half the volume it does. Drug deal do take place in lobby, in parking lot, etc. Rules are selectively enforced and constantly changed with zero notice. I've unfortunately been to several of these programs and for many years. This is hands down the worst. I believe with all my heart this is a giant money grab. Employees that cared and worked for years all left within one yr. I mean nearly a complete turnover. They call it a non profit org and get tons of get and state funding but they recently were sold from Hartford dispensary to root recovery for many millions and all prices have gone up. Literally a license to print money. If you are serious about recovery and being drug free do not go there.

I have been at this clinic for five years now been sober for all five except smoke weed, never have I had a problem ever, now I change counclers and I have issues with my urine being dirty for weed now is this some bull, I think they have bigger fish to fry than someone smoking weed over what else is going on in this world, and I get told one morning by the "charge" nurse that she doesn't have to dose me '' go to a different clinic" so I wrote a grivence on her and got shunned bc I was in the wrong, so in my eyes this place has turned to nothing but bad, set people up to fail. Ever since my councler left it has been one thing after another here. So then I go try to change clinics because that's how strongly I feel they are wrong and it's a whole production to change,

Long long lines. Patients waiting hours in subfreezing temperatures on a regular basis. Unacceptable. You have to really want your recovery to make it at this place .

First of all i go to the hartford clinc with my boyfriend really wanting to just be done and get clean. Im very young and know I have a big life ahead of me. So first i get turned down 3 days in a row because of an error on my insurance. Okay no big deal got it fixed and i come back the 4th day to be told ""oh sorry we cant take you here because you live to far away". What? Why was I not told this 4 days ago when i gave you my ID with my address? ""oh sorry not our fault". Can you believe that? Well it only gets worse from there. So they tell me I have to go to this methodone clinc which was closest to my house. Which meant my boyfriend would stay at the hartford one and id go to new britain. Okay no big deal I sucked it up and went. I get there they take my urine sample and they say I tested postive for opium. I was relieved cause i already knew that and was finally gonna get my dose right? Wrong they said id have to wait till the following monday to come back and get evaluated then ill get my dose. 7 DAYS I WAS TOLD I HAD TO WAIT. Okay fine I guess ill have to suck it up. So I call my boyfriend to find out that they did the evaluation and the physical the same day and he got his dose right there and then!!!! But i didnt get my dose of course!! Then to make things even worse I come back that following monday and all they did was ask me a bunch of questions and said id get my dose after. So i didnt care. Id do anything to get it and not have to use again. So after the questions guess what happens again?? THEY TELL ME I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 6 DAYS UNTIL I GET IT! ANYONE THAT DOES DOPE KNOWS THAT IT TAKES 1 DAY TO START WITHDRAWIMG.. so now I have to wait till monday to get my dose... hopefully they dont ttry to make me wait again... i dont want to use i really really dont but they do not make it easy... worst service ive ever gotten.. so screwd up man.
