Review by Lola Kern

Dr. Barker was recommended to me by a friend who was dealing with Estrogen dominance and she was very happy with the results she achieved with him. I knew I'd found the right doctor when after giving Dr. Barker a list of all my symptoms and frustrations with my current state of health he said, "Well, you're not broken." That was a relief to hear. He's friendly, calm and easy to talk to. Going through hormonal changes after having a hysterectomy: losing my hair, short-circuiting in my brain, being exhausted all the time and feeling like every day was something to endure, all before I turn 50 has really messed with my self-confidence. I really appreciated that he listened and took notes. I've seen Dr. Barker several times now, including the initial visit and a few follow-up appointments for hormonal balancing, adrenal health and Seasonal Affect Disorder since November 2018. I'm SO PLEASED with the results. I'm not quite coasting yet, but I can tell the regimen he put me on is definitely helping. I'm feeling more like myself as weeks go by and my self-confidence is returning. The initial fee is a lot, but subsequent visits are much less. I considered it an investment in my overall health and well-being. I highly recommend him!!!

I honestly can’t believe I trusted them. They charge for every visit, followed up with supplements at sometimes high dosage. It’s a scam. You spend thousands and in the end your underlying issues are never fixed. They just keep making money off your desperation for seeking health. It’s out of pocket, wake up. If people check they’ve been reported several times to the department but they don’t do anything. They have brought up several LLM Lawsuits against them and the only reason they haven’t followed through is because local firms won’t do local clients. They look out for each other. One day they’ll get a customer who has enough money and smarts to realize it’s a scam and be closed.

Dr. Barker is absolutely amazing! I started going to him a little over 2 years ago and was an absolute mess at the time. I could barely function and had no idea what was wrong with me. He was so attentive and helped me get back on my feet and feeling better. Dr. Barker is the best doctor I've ever been to and highly recommend him.

This is a fantastic place to receive proactive advise/care on health and also get to the root of any health problems. My experience of Dr Barker is that he is highly knowledgable and takes time to listen to determine the right course of ongoing care. I love that this place is warm, friendly, well-priced and goes the extra mile to promote health. Highly recommended

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Barker for several years. The supplements he’s recommended for me have been helpful in keeping colds away and feeling more energetic. I’m not always able to make it into the office and he’s been flexible with keeping in touch via email and phone. I’d recommend seeing him if your looking for a very patient, knowledgeable, and caring naturopathic doctor.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
