I wish there were enough words or acts of gratitude that could accurately represent just how grateful I am to Dr. Eischens and the entire staff at Rockwood Natural Medicine. Dr. Eischen's care, attention, and dedication as a physician has completely transformed my life in more ways than one. I have never met a more knowledgeable or tenacious medical provider. She treated me medically as a whole and allowed my body to heal naturally. To anyone who feels they have exhausted all hope, you'll find it at Rockwood Natural Medicine.

Okay. I'm usually not one to write reviews. BUT! I just have to share my experience with this clinic. I have always been healthy my entire life. I've been to the hospital for "illnesses" maybe 5 times in my life. However, January 2018 I spent about 2 weeks battling with an unusual sore throat that wouldn't even allow me to swallow it was that bad. Because of it I ended up loosing a lot of weight and was unable to work. It was very unusual as I am only 22 and had NEVER experienced something like this. I did the typical "antibiotics are gonna be the fastest way to clear this up!" So I went to urgent care and went on an antibiotic, Cefdinir. Long story short, this antibiotic DESTROYED my entire immune system and caused so many horrific problems. After this, I remained sick for about a month. And after that, I was sick about once a week. It got so bad to where I would get better and 3 days later come down with a severe cold/flu that would last for another 2 weeks. I spent the better part of 4 months in the beginning of 2018 sick as a dog. My mom and sister recommended Rockwood Natural Medicine clinic to me and desperate for help, I went. I had my initial appointment with Dr. Elizabeth Taddiken to discuss the issues I was going through and she was SO detailed in asking me questions (things you wouldn't even think correlated with each other) and was so genuinely invested in improving my quality of life. I started treatment with a slew of naturopathic remedies that she customized for me based off of my symptoms. With the weakened immune system that I had, it took a lot of faith for me to trust someone given the antibiotic I was put on ruined my life. People think that "natural" medicine doesn't work but literally within just a few days I already started to feel better than I had in months. After a few weeks I was back to normal, pre-sickness. I cannot rave about Dr. Taddiken enough! She is the most knowledgable, gentle and kind Dr. i've ever dealt with and her attention to detail and ability to listen to me and my body was incredible. I am so pleased to report that since being treated by her, I have not been sick ONE TIME! Every time I feel even a little something coming on, I refer back to her wise treatment guide for me and begin the regiment that will fit me best. The best thing about her is that she doesn't just prescribe something to me and say "okay there ya go" like typical doctors. She actually explains what it is, how it works and how it's supposed to help my certain symptoms. I know natural medicine is not typically covered through insurance but I would've spent double the amount that I did for her services & remedies in order to feel the way I do. Dr. Taddiken, thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me my LIFE BACK! To anyone who is skeptical about natural medicine or desperate for help, PLEASE take my words and visit the doctors at Rockwood Natural Medicine. They are extremely genuine and actually care about their patients well being.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
