Just returned from my very first visit at Rockledge Vet Clinic, and although we didn't get the news we wanted to hear, we got the news in a compassionate and professional way. Not only did the office get me in for an emergency visit the same day I called, they were all so kind and professional and treated my dog so well. We may only have a little time left with our "baby" but she will be comfortable and well cared for thanks to the you. Thank you to Dr. Betty and to the entire staff that made the visit, our options, and our expectations easy to understand at a difficult time.

If you're looking for a vet that is open to a holistic approach, ask for Dr. Betty Marcucci. She accepted that I feed my dogs raw food without telling me how bad or dangerous it was. She accepted that I was not going to further vaccinate my dogs but instead have titer tests done without trying to scare/shame me into giving my dogs unnecessary vaccinations. She accepted that I was not going to give my dogs a flea/tick/heartworm preventative without trying to scare/shame me into feeding them neurotoxins on a regular basis. She is all-in-all very understanding of what I want for my dogs and she doesn't try to change my mind or push "treatments" that my dogs don't need. We've also been seen by Dr. Rubin and Dr. Hutchinson but we weren't impressed with them. We will be requesting Dr. Marcucci exclusively in the future. Kathy (who we see at the front desk most times we come in) is very knowledgeable about raw feeding as well and very willing to answer questions on the subject.

Dr. Carrie and all the other vets have treated us professionally, and always had the comfort of my Ziva in mind first. They are caring, patient, and even though a bit pricey, I believe you get what you pay for. The office staff are professional and helpful. Thanks for caring so much for my Ziva.

I drove here from Center City on advice from a vet friend who takes her dog here. My first pet, I was distressed at the salivary gland bumps on my puppy's cheeks and the vet near me was not responding; even 3 weeks later I am still waiting for the cytology report. Rockledge responded immediately, and took Bodhi in same day, a late Friday afternoon. The doctor, Francie Rubin, DVM, understood my concern, knew what it was and that it would go away; she took time to listen to me and get to know me and my puppy. The staff at the desk was very kind; they gave me a blanket for Bodhi because he threw up twice on his in the car, they referred me to a dog shop up the street for a car harness. I had left my bag behind at the clinic when I was at the dog store and Kathy from the clinic drove the bag up to the store for me. It had been a very stressful and confusing week for me, and Dr. Rubin and her excellent, experienced staff at the front desk helped me through. And anybody who goes out to a Hopi Indian reservations annually to volunteer for their animals is very caring and cool. I am humbled and happy to make Rockledge Vet Clinic Bodhi's home for good health. I would also like to add that the packet they gave me was useful information for people like me that knew nothing about dogs when getting a first puppy, info about safety, food, traveling tips, how to choose insurance, etc., thoughtful things.

Went to see Dr. Beth Ann. The doctor was very understanding in what we wanted to do with it dog with Chiropractic therapy. The doctor took her time in helping us understand what was going on and what she was doing. The staff that I met were very friendly. We found our new vet.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
