Very excited that a dispensary opened up here. This place is amazing and the staff is super friendly. Customer service here is outstanding and they were very helpful in answering all my questions. I definitely would recommend this place!

I recently received my medical marijuana card and went in to Remedy today. Note that if you get your ID, you also must come with a driver's license and your certification as well (not just your medical marijuana card). That said, they sat me down and went over everything in as much detail as I needed. I felt very comfortable with what I took home. After I decided, they had a pharmacist come out to answer any questions as well. While a little on the pricey side (I'm okay with it since the pot is legal), the quality is outstanding. I got some for sleep and to help with pain/anxiety/depression. Cash only which is the way it'll be until weed is federally legal. Worth the trip.

Opening day was amazing to have a medical cannabis dispensary that is right down the road versus commuting over bridges to my obtain my medical cannabis every month. I have been to 3/4 dispensaries since the MMJ program started and am extremely grateful to have a convenient location here with various forms of medical cannabis THC:CBD ratios to find what is right for my neurological and pain conditions. Thanks to Remedy and NY state, I have begun tapering my last pain med - to keep a consistent regimen with medical cannabis. The Remedy team was professional, welcoming and exceptional in my first visit. Very busy at times so call ahead to see how the day is going though appointments aren’t needed as of now. I look forward to many more visits, and if you are local in Rockland as well as qualify for MMJ, stop in and take a peek!

About Nanuet, New York

Nanuet is a hamlet and census-designated place in the town of Clarkstown, Rockland County, New York, United States. The third largest hamlet in Clarkstown, it is located north of Pearl River, south of New City, east of Spring Valley, and west of West Nyack. What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
