Remedy is THE home base for all medical patients in the Howard County area. I am consistently blown away by the quality and care of service I receive here. Every visit. Remedy's specials are always fire and they are even sending a patient to Vegas for a raffle! If you love your medicine, and you love coming into a home grown family environment, Remedy is the place to bring your business!

Such nice staff and owners. The process of being a first time client is easy and they go out of their way to make you feel at ease. I was well waited on and in a timely manner.

Blaring music and unwelcoming vibe especially from intaking associate 😑 If I wanted that atmosphere I’d have gone to a dealer. Would have been nice to be treated professionally especially since I had a headache, was in pain and just needed some salve for relief. It was my first time with my temp ID and was not sure what the process was. I kindly left before I finished registration.

Very nice set up. It’s clean and the people are friendly and knowledgeable. It’s perfect! As I go more and more to this facility I am seeing that the sales rep is very important to your experience at Remedy. If you do not know much and your rep doesn’t either then you are simply left to settle for whatever is offered. During my last visit, my rep just stood their and looked at me and any question I had he gave an I dont know type response. Although I was assigned him, I began talking to the rep that was extremely knowledgeable during my last visit. And the rep I was assigned was simply doing whatever my rep from my previous visit said to do and or suggest. But my actions were very rude to the other client that he was helping. Each rep is different and bases their sales pitch off their own experiences.

About Laurel, Maryland

Laurel is a city in Maryland, United States, located midway between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore on the banks of the Patuxent River. While the city limits are entirely in northern Prince George's County, outlying developments extend into Anne Arundel, Montgomery and Howard counties. Founded as a mill town in the early 19th century, Laurel expanded local industry and was later able to become an early commuter town for Washington and Baltimore workers following the arrival of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1835. Largely residential today, the city maintains a historic district centered on its Main Street, highlighting its industrial past. The Department of Defense is a prominent presence in the Laurel area today, with the Fort Meade Army base, the NSA and Johns Hopkins' Applied Physics Laboratory all located nearby. Laurel Park, a thoroughbred horse racetrack, is located just outside the city limits. Read More

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
