Two relatives of mine saw doctor Anders a few times. He was great the first visit but after one brought up a medical concern he was quick to dismiss her complaints by pegging it on a condition which did not match her symptoms at all and rushed her off. He never even laid a hand on her to hear her chest/breathing or anything. Never did any osteopathic manipulations (which he claims to do on his website and would have been likely very helpful in her situation, or at least to be assessed for it) She was shocked. She felt so deflated because her symptoms clearly didn't match his assumption. They were quite the opposite of the condition he said he thought it might be. He clearly did not listen to her symptoms, although he was looking right at her. He lacked a sense of caring when it came down to it. After several more weeks she touched base again to let him know the condition was still present and concerning her and he said he did not know what to do ( literally) and left it at that. He did not offer any suggestions or follow up tests. It was if he wanted her to not pursue the issue/treatment through him. She had also been monitoring another health problem in which he did nothing to help her with and actually told her she did not need to monitor it (RED FLAG). Her condition is widely recognized as a high risk condition that requires yearly monitoring and had she not discussed this with a nurse friend of hers and listened to him, it could have resulted in a disaster. It seemed like Dr.Anders didn't want to deal with anything too complex, outside of wellness visits. My other relative developed a painful virus and saw him for that, she had been to him previously with no issues, since nothing was wrong. She said she felt that he didn't really listen to her and "blew her off" in the patient portal when she asked more questions (she was in pain and wanted help and to learn more about her condition). He just stopped responding to her, as if to cut her off so she wouldn't come back to him, just like my other relative. Additionally, they both said the office staff seemed very young and inexperienced and had issues relating insurance billing and following up. My biggest concern here seems to be the lack of knowledge on his part to handle actual medical conditions , ones that may pose some difficulty, research and work. I question his ethics as a doctor to just dismiss patients in need. If it were just one family member, ok but two had consistent experiences. My hope is that this review serves as a wake up call to Dr.Anders and also cautions patients to be their own health advocates and perhaps find a doctor that can be a true partner in your healthcare. Both of these women were left stranded, unable to get into other offices for months as a new patient. Save yourself the time, and start things off with a different doctor.

Dr. Anders is the most compassionate Dr. I have ever had. If more Dr.s showed their patients the care he does, the world would be a much bettet place.

2nd appt with Dr Anders. Treated me like an old friend. Used my nickname that no one ever seems to get. Had a physical with a very young man joining us. He's got to learn somehow I suppose. Nice kid. And if you're a woman who needs a pap, Dr A is the guy for you. Unbelievable. No discomfort at all. Wonderful disposition. Thanks Doc!!!!

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
