Dr. Zaum and staff are always extremely helpful and professional. I've been going there for almost three years.

Came to the Bay Area to visit family. Once I got here I realized I had forgotten to bring any of my daily contacts. I called their office asking if they could help me out, even though I wasn't a patient (I didn't want to buy them online because it was Friday afternoon and I would have had to wait a couple business days) They had me come in with my prescription, placed an order, and gave me several free pairs to hold me over until my order came in. I felt it was a lot of effort on their part for a relatively small sale, and I'm very thankful. Staff was super understanding and helpful. I highly recommend.

While my first time at this optic was great. I had an eye exam and bought one year supply of contact lenses. The problem came when I had to renew my contact lenses. Since it had been 13 months since my last eye exam they told me I had to retake the eye exam and that I would need to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. I told them I was short of contact lenses and that I could take any day off from work to accommodate any time during the next 10 days (trying to give them as more options as possible). They were not accommodating at all, telling me to wait or find another doctor. Well, I called another optic that same day and without being a client they understood my situation and found me an appointment that same day, making time between patients to get my order ready. While I liked the service the first time I went to this optic, their lack of flexibility and poor service offered to existing clients, makes me give them one star. A good optic is the one that take cares of their patients. For people looking for an optic, I am not saying you should not go, just know that they won't help you in any emergency, so get a backup plan or find an optic that you don't need a backup plan altogether.

They charge pretty much. Did some simple check and they charge more than $150 without letting you know in advance.

Dr Z is awesome. Very professional, and knowledgeable. I call myself a "needy patient" and she was very patient, and kept me informed through the whole process. She helped me find the right contact lenses for me, and seemed to go out of her way to help. 5 stars isn't a high enough of a review from me.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
