My husband started a new job that has different insurance so, we switched to Owens Pharmacy from Walmart. We have NEVER been treated as great as we were treated here! The facility was very clean and organized. The staff was amazing and very respectful/ friendly. Because of this excellent local service, we will definitely recommend to everyone to transfer their medications to Owens Pharmacy. Keep up the great work!

Rude place. They despise "government insurance" types, even though I WORKED MY ENTIRE LIFE TO USE, SINCE THE AGE OF 14. He boldly expressed his disgust to my face. The inept manager is hostile, confrontational and bigoted. A basic asshat. They don't even let you use the bathroom here. Their parking lot is aggressively tagged up on whose spot is whose. They can't even get along with their business neighbors, and share a parking lot with some easiness. Pharmacists and pharmacies are way too much on a high these days. They need to take it down some notches and learn to APPRECIATE and RESPECT the customers that pay THEM! Get it straight! Here's something to ponder: my government med fills PAY YOUR CHECK. Get it straight and look into working on YOUR HUMILITY. It needs a TON of work. FYI: I'm sorry you feel that way is NOT AN APOLOGY EITHER. It is the most infuriating, passive aggressive, moronic thing to say when YOU are in the wrong.

The old, bittter pharmacist, who hattes life and everyone in it, is almost as much of a treat as the passive agggressive, lazzy manager. Almost. It's a close one!

All I hear from them is how they have not got my prescription from my doctor yet. Even if I know for a fact the Doctor emailed it as I was still in the office.

I have been going to Owens pharmacy for along time now. They are good about remembering my name and being very kind/ helpful. Ignore the bad ratings. People hate because they come in to pharmacies demanding instant drugs and the health system does not work that way. People have to wait on approvals etc. Owens beats: Safeway, Walmart, Walgreens, etc. I have been to them all in hopes to find the best pharmacy but Owens beats them all by a landslide. They get me my medication fast and efficiently. Often they will fax and call the doctor multiple times trying to get a medication authorized when I am having trouble with the doctor. Thank you Owens for being the best.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
