I've discovered in my short time at on our own of Montgomery county that the staff are well suited for the job. There caring and concerned with the well being of the members. They're very good at what they do. They are compassionate and always looking for the best for each member. When a client is in distress staff are right there to problem solve. For the staff their primary goal is centered around the members. The staff come second and the members always come first when they need help. The staff are trained and well educated to tackle any problem the member's might have

On our own is a wonderful program! I first started coming to On Our Own about a year ago and I have grown so much with the help and support of this program. I would highly suggest this program to anyone who is considering a save environment for all of their recovery goals. This program is so special for more reasons than I can name. This program has saved lives and turned lives around. This little but cozy spot is a VERY warm, welcoming and supportive haven. On our own of Montgomery county looks like home but more importantly feels like home. This program accomadates a large variety of folks living with any kind of mental illness or mental disability. This program helps (but is not limited to) people living with depression, bi-polar disorder, A.D.H.D, social anxiety, A.A., etc. This program is UNIQUE because it is run by people who also struggle with some of the same issues. It is also Unique because of the level of SUPPORT they provide for pretty much every issue a person could possibly have and the fact that they are so down to earth here you leave with a feeling of restoration you feel renewed after leaving. everytime I leave on our own I know I feel better myself. I have made a lot of friends here. I struggle with severe social anxiety and bi-polar disorder .With the help of this program I was able to open up and now have many friends and am able to advocate for myself a lot better because of this program. I am a lot more confident in my abilities as well. Thanks to all of the staff at on our own I am a stronger woman today . THANK YOU! =)

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
