This place is incredible! I've done float pods before in Seattle, but they all paled in comparison to this place. Something about floating in complete darkness of the metal room that created an intense out of body experience. I felt like I was floating in space amongst the stars of the constellation in the middle of the universe. I liked that they had coloring books and journals for you to write in as well in the lobby. When you first enter this place, you just feel a sense of calm and serene and know you will get taken care of. I also did the infrared sauna and that was pretty cool. I am looking forward to trying the other services next time and would highly recommend to anyone in the Olympia area.
I've had 2 floats here so far. Bought the intro package, and glad I did because it turns out I really enjoy floating and it's a great deal, basically you get 3 floats for the price of two. I found the experiences to be some of the most relaxing I've ever had. Came out with my skin feeling so soft and looking amazing. Staff is very calm and kind, the soul space is as well. They have tea and water and you can just chill for a bit after. I was in the wood room. I didn't notice some hairs from probably other people in my tank. It doesn't bother me personally though. Looking forward to my third float next week. I will continue to come back. I'm happy I found such a great self care tool for me. One of my favorites. Thank you, Oly Float.
Went for my first float session tonight, and it was absolutely amazing. Probably the most relaxing thing I have ever done. I definitely recommend coming here, it’s worth the time and money.
This place is built from the ground up to be extremely relaxing, but still professional. The float tanks are a totally unique experience, and as someone who toyed around with the idea for a long time before trying it, I highly recommend going for it.
Went with my wife today. Atmosphere was relaxing. Front desk gave us a good run down about our first float. My wife went in for a massage first, I waited. Went in for the float, the smell of mildew was strong in the metal room. Showered and entered the float. Water was temp and float room temp were okay. It exterior shower room was cold. Had several pieces of someone else's hair stick to my hands throughout the float. I slid on the float floor upon exiting and fell backwards hitting my knee on the side of the float. Showered after, met my wife in the lobby where I waited for my massage. My wife did not enjoy her massage. She also stated that the massage therapist was conducting Reiki on her during the massage and felt like she should have been asked. I went in for my massage. It was okay. Won't return.
Olympia is the capital city of the U.S. state of Washington. It had a population of 55,605 at the 2020 census, making it the state of Washington's 23rd-most populous city. Olympia is the county seat of Thurston County, and the central city for a metropolitan statistical area of 298,758, the fifth-largest in Washington state. Located 50 miles southwest of Seattle, Olympia anchors the South Puget Sound region of Western Washington. The Squaxin and other Coast Salish peoples inhabited the southern Puget Sound region prior to the arrival of European and American settlers in the 19th century. The Treaty of Medicine Creek was signed in 1854 and followed by the Treaty of Olympia in 1856; these two treaties forced the Squaxin to relocate to an Indian reservation. Olympia was declared the capital of the Washington Territories (later the state of Washington) in 1853 and incorporated as a town on January 28, 1859. It became a city in 1882. Aside from its role in the state government, Olympia is also ... Read More
A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.
At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.
In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
