The doctor was very thorough. The staff was knowledgeable. While this is a new process and there will be kinks, once I saw the doc, things moved quickly. There were parts of this experience that could have been better, but ultimately it worked out.

The doctor and staff were knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Having scheduled my appointment without any real idea of what to expect, it went as painlessly as it could have, and for that I'm thankful. Here's hoping they can continue to offer assistance and relief to others seeking alternatives to pharmaceutical treatment for very real and very specific issues.

Service was good loved getting my card but no place close to buy it at.. why don’t they ship to disabled and handi cap that can’t drive 150 miles away .. got card two months ago and no where close to buy no mention of when they are opening Dayton stores or any in this area! Don’t get a card unless you are able to drive to get it 150 miles away.. does my card start the first day I purchase medical marijuana or I loose these months when we have no locations nearby available to buy! Please when are they opening a Dayton store! Still suffering! Still waiting! frustrated!

LISTEN UP!!! Make sure you take your medical records with you to your consultation! I was under the impression that just taking in your medications would be enough to prove my condition. It was not. They needed records from my doctors office. This lead to a 4 month delay in my application! The records are all requested electronically and your doctor may not know what exactly to send beings they are not communicating with a real life person. The wording has to be just such before they will approve you. So it's tricky. I had to call back and forth between the medical marijuana home base, the Dayton office, and my doctors office a dozen times over the past 4 months until the correct paperwork was finally forwarded and my application was approved. This could have all been avoided if I would have taken the proper paperwork in the first time. So it was my fault even though I blamed everyone else! And even though I called the medical marijuana people a dozen times and was a real pain the a** they was always super polite and did their best to rectify the situation. Very professional. Dr. Cataldi and the staff at the actual office were also very professional. Examination was fast but thorough. Office might look a little shady when ya pull up because it's located in the basement, underneath a barber shop. But once inside it looks just like any other doctors office.

About Fairborn, Ohio

Fairborn is a city in Greene County, Ohio, United States. The population was 34,620 at the 2020 census. It is a suburb of Dayton and part of the Dayton metropolitan area. The city is home to Wright State University, which serves nearly 12,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The city also hosts the disaster training facility known informally as Calamityville. It is the only city in the world named Fairborn, a portmanteau created from the names Fairfield and Osborn. After the Great Dayton Flood of 1913, the region and state created a conservation district here and, in the 1920s, began building Huffman Dam to control the Mad River. Residents of Osborn were moved with their houses to an area alongside Fairfield. In 1950, the two villages merged into the new city of Fairborn. Read More

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
