What a joy to deal with such lovely caring individuals! Dr. Abrams was very compassionate and efficient. Alyssa was such a friendly approachable young lady. Elegant mannerisms. Very fast in processing our information. Very informative about locations of dispensaries locations. Let me know some were not open yet and which ones to go to. I love the t-shirt. Then Anna was very efficient , and personable. I hope you hire hundreds of these women!

The positive atmosphere and warm friendly smiles makes for a great visit. The people working here are very Knowledgeable and help to put your mind at ease throughout the process. The office is very clean and well kept. Parking was easy and available right out front. The building was easily found from the main road. We highly recommend making an appointment here for your medical marijuana needs.

Once I found the place, the reception was fast and friendly. It was a comfortable atmosphere. Dr. Dietrich was friendly and thorough, answering any questions that I had. Anna was very happy and friendly also answering all of my questions quickly and making me feel quite comfortable. The whole process was far less painful than expected! Thanks for your help in getting me started and now I'm looking forward to trying new products available. Mark~

terrible experience! I am a veteran, with more than one qualifying disorder and was told to get a recommendation to void out my therapists diagnosis from 5 years ago (when the requirement is only 2 years). I was told to go to one of their doctors to get a recommendation. I tried this avenue and this guy doesn't even return calls. MUST BE REALLY BUSY WITH ALL THE "BACK-DOOR" REFERRALS. This program already appears to be a money game!!!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY VETERAN BUDDIES. I'm actually going to do the opposite!!! I would give no stars, if possible. Also, they say my money is refundable, except for 60 dollars (supposedly for the doctors diagnosis that I never received). They were really friendly though. By the way, this is the Westlake office I'm talking about.

Great people and a great physician staffing the facility in Westlake. The building ( Building 3 in the King James Complex) is easy to find, but has no signs outside to let you know that the Ohio Marijuana card facility is inside the building. I had a hard time figuring this out. It could be a bit less expensive( $280.00) plus another $50.00 to the state for the license that you print online. And you have to follow up in a year with a doctor at any of the facilities at the one year point, and that will run another $180.00, and possibly that amount yearly. So this is not inexpensive. And if you want CBD oil produced from the marijuana plant and not hemp, it is not yet available at any dispensary in Ohio. Supposedly they lack the equipment to measure liquid volume. Whatever?? And I also question the availability of low percentage THC marijuana at the dispensaries. So my complaints are with all except the people at the medical facility. They are all really friendly and helpful.

Discuss Ohio Marijuana Card - Medical Marijuana Doctors

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
