The staff & Dr. Duhamel were wonderful. Such a pleasant experience. Have your documents and medical reports with you and they easily walk you through the registering and give a short simple exam. They explain everything so you can understand. I highly recommend this office if you too need your medical card. Registration reached Columbus and my email was waiting when I got home from the apt. I was able to print or scan my card directly to my phone.

Deneice Fitch - What a delight it was to visit this office. Dr. Barrett and the office staff were very compassionate to my issues. It was great talking to other people with the same conditions and understood why I was there also sharing helped to let you know you aren’t the only one going through this. The wait was minimal and the Dr. was very informative as to what would help me. The office is easily located and the visit was a delight not at all like the pain center where the staff isn’t very compassionate and sometimes makes my pain worse.

The entire staff is very caring and understanding. My appointment was fast and thorough. They provide so much information and resources then make sure you understand all of it. I was hesitant to go, but so glad I did. Thank all of you!

I didn't know what to expect and I was a little nervous meeting a new doctor. I was warmly greeted by reception and he quickly got me signed in. My next step was to meet with the doctor who was very nice and compassionate about my concerns and very patient with me to go over everything I needed to make inform decisions in such a short consultation. The office manager was just as prioritized and and no waiting to see her for my exit consultation. From start to finish everyone was very friendly, organized, and professional and made my visit extremely important. I wasn't just a number or hmo to them, I was treated like family. Thank you everyone.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
