Great place for all the fun and important stuff.

I purchased multiple products from the store this past weekend, overall it was an poor experience. Walked in and felt like we were being watched by the stores employee/possible owner, we weren’t greeted, the man seemed to know nothing about Costumer Service. Furthermore, the selection was less than satisfactory for a nostalgic store and the prices for the products were ridiculous! Not to mention I got home and went to try the products I bought and they did not work. The store also doesn’t offer refunds. Overall I would say this store lost the old glory name and it’s easy to tell why. I can’t imagine them being open much longer. I nor will anyone I know shop at this store ever again.

Great selection of hippie memorabilia as well as quality pieces and very friendly staff. The storefront is very difficult to see from the road as there is no street signage. The selection is large and they carry many unique items at reasonable production quality cost. The store is well lit and doesn't feel seedy. Lots of beautiful jewelry, clothes and incense accessories as well.

So overpriced and no one has a clue of what they're talking about when you walk in there. The lady called the bubbler that I was looking at a pipe and then tried to charge me $100 for a small bubbler plus $30 for a quartz banger. What happened to my Old Glory .I've been buying pipes and bongs from them since I was a kid. Troy where did you go what happened to Old Glory.??!

Great shop... unfortunately the last 2 times I've tried to visit they've been closed during what are their normal business hours. Frustrating because I've made 2 special trips to try to visit.

About Middletown, Connecticut

Middletown is a city in Middlesex County, Connecticut, United States. Located along the Connecticut River, in the central part of the state, it is 16 miles (26 kilometers) south of Hartford. Middletown is the largest city in the Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region. In 1650, it was incorporated by English settlers as a town under its original Native American name, Mattabeseck, after the local Wangunk village of the same name. They were among many tribes along the Atlantic coast who spoke Algonquian languages. The colonists renamed the settlement in 1653. When Hartford County was organized on May 10, 1666, Middletown was included within its boundaries. In 1784, the central settlement was incorporated as a city distinct from the town. Both were included within newly formed Middlesex County in May 1785. In 1923, the City of Middletown was consolidated with the Town, making the city limits extensive. Originally developed as a sailing port and then an industrial center on the Connecticut ... Read More

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
