The service and experience was outstanding. I parked along Harvard street on a parking meter stall for a short walk to the NETA dispensary. I reserved my same day order ahead through their online system to purchase one of their products for pain relief. I highly recommend using their online system for ordering ahead. It’s fast and easy and took about 15 minutes to get my reservation request confirmation on their online system (May take longer on a busy day like 420). From start to finish, it took approximately 28 minutes to be out the door (Make sure to bring an up to date U.S. government issued ID and your confirmation email of your order ahead reservation prior to getting there. They accept cash and debit cards only. No credit cards accepted). Overall, 43 minutes to get recreational marijuana in Brookline beats driving an hour to and back to Western Massachusetts to get the same product. Outstanding service. Keep up the good work! Update: There’s a ton of electric scooters parked along Coolidge Corner to fulfill your recreational needs for anyone looking to get there on foot. Enjoy

Great place, awesome employees and Brookline Police very nice no judgment. Inside is beautiful. They have an awesome book on everything you need to know on how to use cannabis correctly. I would suggest if in a hurry reserve ahead otherwise spend time to know other patrons. Tops 20-30 minutes wait all together. Before noon and after 6pm.

RESERVE AHEAD. RESERVE AHEAD. RESERVE AHEAD. I can’t stress this enough. Ordered on line on a Saturday morning. Got confirmation after lunch. Leisurely traveled into Brookline and waited in a 10 minute line. The walk-up line was at 90 minutes at 2pm. Once inside I encountered the most efficient operation this side of an assembly line. I was inside the facility for about four minutes. Every employee was super cool and helpful. FYI: they only take cash and debit cards. You capped at 3.5 grams of flower when you order online. All good.

I feel terrible that I have to do this. I really do. I loved NETA. I will still shop here because I have no choice. They hands-down make the best distillate in the state but it's very clear they don't care about customer service anymore. I am shifting as much of my business elsewhere and I encourage others to do so as well. NETA is not the company it was. The owners sold it and along with it apparently they sold it's integrity. Again, to be clear, their concentrates are bar none. Their people skills for the medical community are 0 out of 10. One instance: They expected a disabled person to walk 300+ feet from their valet. I could go on, but I will save my typing for more positive reviews.

Friendly, helpful staff. First time in a dispensary. Wait wasn't too bad on a Sunday. Got there 15 minutes before opening and was out the door 45 minutes later. Use their Reserve Ahead service, if you already know what you want, and save time. They have a separate waiting line.

About West Roxbury

West Roxbury is a neighborhood in Boston, Massachusetts, bordered by Roslindale to the northeast, the village of Chestnut Hill and the town of Brookline to the north, the city of Newton to the northwest, the towns of Dedham and Needham to the southwest, and Hyde Park to the southeast. West Roxbury is often mistakenly confused with Roxbury, but the two are separated from each other by Roslindale and Jamaica Plain. Before 1630, the area was inhabited by the Wampanoag Indian Tribe. Founded in 1630 (contemporaneously with Boston), West Roxbury was originally part of the town of Roxbury and was mainly used as farmland. West Roxbury seceded from Roxbury in 1851, and was annexed by Boston in 1874. The town included the neighborhoods of Jamaica Plain and Roslindale. West Roxbury's main commercial thoroughfare is Centre Street. West Roxbury Main Streets is a local non-profit that works to enhance and promote the business district. The neighborhood has some two-family houses but mostly single family ... Read More

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
