Last fall I was feeling incredibly ill, I also have a very busy seasonally job, thus I was bouncing around to various practitioners all over California. I saw countless Western doctors, various alternative healers, underwent numerous tests for over a month, and saw absolutely no progress. I visited Dr. Shah through the clinic at Five Flavors Herbs (not sure if this is still provided). Within minutes she had an idea of what why I was struggling with my physical body, and after a subsequent round of (different!) tests we found a culprit and immediately started treatments. One year later I am significantly improved, with the knowledge, tools, and support to understand and improve my health. As I mentioned I travel full time, and I am often out of the country. I cannot always put my health first and I also need a heavy dose of flexibility in just about everything. Dr. Shah has consistently provided me with the tools (medication, supplements, body talk, breathing exercises, dietary suggestions) and personalized options that support and encourage improving my whole body health while living my (nomadic) lifestyle. She is kind, knowledgeable, calm, and does not judge. I have never felt so relaxed with a health practitioner, nor have I ever felt so participatory while learning and working toward a healthier me. Thank you again!

Dr Aumatma Shah has been yet another positively restorative addition to the team of healing partners I have chosen to assist me with and through my symptoms of Endometriosis and the branches from this source of learning and continued growth. I would recommend Dr Aum to you on the grounds that she is a bright and honest light of integrity filled approaches to the shared relationship of healing. Regardless of outcomes, challenging situations or facing stressful news, I always felt as though "We are in this together! We can do this." For me, it was and is always helpful to know and feel that I am not alone and I am in a collaborative process. Equally important was her humbling acknowledgment that if what we were doing wasn't working, we would move on to other approaches and/or referrals to other people more suited to my needs. Dr Aumatma has been a fabulous and enriching part of my healing. ~ C. McLane

This is going to be a long review, so get comfortable ;) Dr. Aumatma is absolutely amazing! Within 15 minutes of meeting her, she figured out what 3 other naturopaths and 2 other doctors never did- that I wasn't absorbing any nutrients. I'm one of the "healthiest" people I know- eating organic food, no sugar, no dairy, no gluten, I do yoga blah blah blah... but if I was so "healthy" then why didn't I feel better? The last naturopath before Dr Aum had me on 64 supplements a day. I'm NOT exaggerating- literally, 64 pills everyday! I spent thousands of dollars, didn't feel better, so I sought out a new health care practitioner. I live 3 hours away from Dr. Aum but she's worth the trip. After figuring out this absorption issue, she was able to help me heal. I've never felt better! She also helped me prepare for a major surgery and recover from it more quickly. She also did video sessions with me and would chat on the phone so I didn't have to make the drive every time we wanted to check in. She's compassionate and completely invested in your health and well being. I would recommend her to anyone. She changed my life! Thanks

If I had gone to Dr. Aum sooner, I would have saved thousands of dollars and a lot of distress. I contacted Dr. Aum because I was having problems with my endocrine system and wanted to find an expert in women's health that used natural medicine. I figured a fertility expert had to know a thing or two about women's health. I had been working with an endocrinologist and according to the labs she conducted I was fine, but I wasn't. I still felt low on energy and was having symptoms the endocrinologist couldn't explain. In addition, I had been seeing other natural practitioners in hopes of finding an answer but none of them gave me results like Dr. Aum did. I am so grateful I found Dr. Aum. When I met her she was kind and her presence instantly made me feel like things were going to be okay. I committed to working with her for 6 months. She conducted a thorough assessment. She then created an integrated treatment plan that addressed the underling cause of my ailments. Now, I am saving so much money from being off pharmaceuticals, feeling full of energy, and have tools knowledge to keep my self healthy for the rest of my life. She is gifted, well trained, and I highly recommend her.

Singlehanded, Dr. Aumatma has changed my life. I have faced reproductive and hormone imbalance issues my entire life. I have worked with a multitude of the highest respected (because of my unique situation) western medical specialists (and fertility centers) and not one of them was able to get to the source to figure out *why* this was happening and how to treat it. Due to Dr. Aumatma's approach (a combination of physical, emotional and spiritual) she was not only able to truly see me and my diagnosis, but completely turn my life around - in just 2 months. She's my magician. It's a gift... to be in her graceful presence, and experience the gifts she has to offer. Thank you Dr. Aumatma... you are helping me discover me - as I had felt broken before working with you.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
