Do yourself a favor and find a different place to get your card. Please. I decided to try this place out since it was local and what a mistake. I had a 4:00 appointment and was early, still ended up waiting 45 minutes in the sweltering heat because they had no AC. Then I watched as both people who went before me were rejected for their cards. When it was my turn I was told that the information I provided to obtain my card in the past was no longer relevant even though the issue persisted. If I was seeing a doctor I wouldn't have known because he did nothing but look through my records. He never introduced himself, he had no credentials anywhere, and he performed no medical examination of any kind. My medical condition is not only supported by medical records but is also obvious to any doctor who performs even the most basic of physical exams. It seems as though this place is not interested in facilitating patients access to the medicine they need but rather to reject as many people as possible. If you've read the laws, as I have, you would know that you're not allowed to certify people for medical marijuana in a facility that also dispenses it. This place advertised their marijuana all over the inside of the building and sold medicine there as well. How is that legal? Very shady practice anyway, but how is it a coincidence that everyone who showed up that day to obtain their card was rejected? I don't believe in those kinds of coincidences. If there's a requirements beyond just having medical records then that information should be made available up front not after I've wasted an hour of my time. I couldn't be more disappointed.

I was very pleased with the customer service. I came almost 30 min early for my appointment and was seeing the doctor 10 min after that. The man at the front desk was very helpful and the doctor was pleasant and understanding! I will continue to renew my card with this establishment

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
