I am so impressed with Mix Pharmacy. They rushed to get everything done when I transferred from another pharmacy (in Michigan} to Mix. I am more than satisfied because they charged me far less than the previous pharmacy and the cost of shipping was much less. The bottles of nasal oils were larger and nicer than the MI ones. I highly recommend Mix to anyone who needs a special medication.

I have had Trigeminal Neuralgia for over six years. It was fairly well controlled by large doses of oral medications. Due to concerns of toxicity, I had a procedure in January to treat the nerve pain. Unfortunately the procedure caused burning pain, numbness and muscle weakness which made me unable to sleep or eat solid foods. Mix Pharmacy compounded a cream which I use 4 times a day. I started using it 6 days ago and the burning pain has almost resolved. I can now sleep and chew soft foods. I am hopeful that the Trigeminal pain will respond to the cream when the numbness dissipates. I would love to avoid the systemic effects of the oral medications as they decrease my cognition, energy level and balance. I am so grateful to Alana and Mix Pharmacy.

The Mix pharmacists made a pain cream that really helped my mother, who has serious arthritis. They worked with her to maximize the efficacy, trying different combinations of drugs. The cream has no side effects for her. It worked so well she no longer needs with pain pills that had such bad side effects. The pharmacists worked with her doctor to educate her and obtain consent and prescription. They are very responsive to questions about their compounded medications and the first class supplements they carry.

The Mix pharmacy was able to help save me hundreds of dollars on my RX. I live in Southern MN and my refills are received within a day or two of my refill request. I recommend using them even if you do not live in close proximity as the service is excellent !

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
