I only know what I’ve read on the net about marijuana. After being urged by mutual friends of Dr. Beasley to see her to determine if this would be a beneficial treatment and help with diabetic neuropathy, I made an appointment. When my wife and I arrived, the receptionist took the requested info and haphazardly looked over my medical record and turned us away. She didn’t see the “proof” of the qualifying event. I would’ve happily paid the ($200 rumored) consultation fee to get educated on the facts of what this treatment may or may not do, from a medical doctor. I thought that’s what I was there for but, the level of professionalism I was experiencing through the door made me decide to quietly take back my records and just leave. I got the sense that this is a business to help you get the card. They may be great at doing that, but I wouldn’t recommend using them for a source of info or education. Whilst we took time from work, the whole incident was less than 2 minutes and we left there feeling awkward and a little embarrassed, frustrated. I hear Dr. Beasley’s great, I gave 1 star in hopes to get the attention of people in similar situation some help on saving time and frustration.
Savannah and Melisa were great in every way. Spent a lot of time explaining details to me. Thanks a bunch girls!!
Seven months before visiting Dr. Beasley, I was diagnosed with PTSD, GAD, and MDD. Lexapro was prescribed, and the side effects were miserable. Continued visits to Lakeview proved to be more stressful and panic inducing rather than helpful. When I showed up here, I was greeted with a lovely waiting room, and a smiling and helpful front desk attendant. Soon, I was speaking to one of Dr. Beasleys doctors. I think we spoke for nearly 30 minutes, and he listened more than any doctor I had spoken to. I was amazed at how well he articulated the therapeutic benefits of parts of the plant I didn't know existed. It was a great experience that I was very panicked about before entering the door. Two weeks later I got my email saying my card was approved. The first thing I've felt happy about in 6 months. Thank you for providing something that drastically increases my quality of life, and my health.

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.
At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.
In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
