Despite how innocent this school may look, if you want a place where much does not happen and a place where you would be betrayed this is the place. Want to do something you want to do and can't because you are not good enough this is the place, and also they do not have much here. They do not have much for your child to offer, they may be a small school, but they need to have more to offer for our students. So much for "Let the flame within, burn brighter"

It's what you would expect from a small town school. There was a plurality of "small minded" people employed in the school and board. The Ag Department was essential in providing comprehensive life skills that I continue to use even as a city dweller. Another positive note, the Home Economics Department did some amazing lessons for the students. If you're yearning for a fabulous life of cultured experience and knowledge for your child, I recommend you invest in Garces Catholic High School in Bakersfield. McFarland High School fails to give their students the ability to engage in academic discourse to compete globally in areas of academia and socio-economic mobility.
