They recently created this top shelf scam, doubling the price of strands that all used to be the same price. I realized they can do this because they have a monopoly , being the only dispensary in Colorado Springs. The greed is truely a shame because their employees are all great and energetic, all look like they are happy to work there. If only the owner could quench his greed, they will be back to being a great recreational dispensary. Jarvis Sykes

I hadn't been to this shop in 3 years and was glad I stopped. Nicholas helped me and was very patient, answered all questions I had and also had some good laughs. This is a great example of how you should be treated coming into a store for your first time.

Honestly the experience is amazing. From when you first walk inside and get hit with he wave of potent bud to your nose, through the easy-breese of a check-in process, to the inside shop full of surprises. Let me tell you, they have such a wide variety if items that don’t disappoint, so youd be crazy to think otherwise (from amazing deals, to new items at least weekly!) The best part about it all is by far the staff though.. They work as if they actully care about what you want and for you to be FULLY satisfied. After all, this is medicine to help us with various ailments. Nick, Justin, Zoey and LT do a great job at making the business shine. I would mention others, but they did this place the most sincere justice.

This place has a lot of 5 star reviews, but only because they're one of the two dispensaries nearest to colorado springs that can sell recreational. What this means is anybody from anywhere can stop in and buy weed as long as they're over 21. So a lot of out of state people come through and put 5 star reviews because it's legal and most likely their first time to a dispensary. You can imagine how different it would be from a black market deal, so of course it'd get 5 stars from a persons first legal experience. They really do not have good product, nor do they even care about patients/employees. It all smells and looks the same with low potency. I remember one budtender tried bragging up a strain "Lost Tribe" to me. Said it was their most popular strain. Absolutely no difference in smell or smoke from the other 3 i also bought. They continue to support medical only in colorado springs because they're location is a monopoly for out of state visitors and people who cannot obtain a med card. The prices will be higher than any shop around because it's one of two places to get weed near manitou/colorado springs. The greed of this company is ridiculous and sick. Please do not shop here if you are visiting out of state or do not have a med card. It is low tier weed with high tier prices sold by a greedy company. You should see the work environment, if you don't believe look at the reviews on indeed.

Sometimes people slip through the cracks and get into positions of responsibility, that they shouldn't be in. This is the case with the general manager of this store. From treating women employee's like objects to accusing others of crimes this idiot (Andy) takes the cake. Yo, corporate watch monkies !!!, Your general manager seems to be melting down and putting the Corp. In a dubious position.... Why does this guy get a pass while good employee's are intimidated down the road? Maybe better to use another location of Maggie's till an adequate, law abiding and sober management team is put into place at this one. I KNOW WHAT YOU DID ANDY, GET HELP SON YOUR RECURRING NEGATIVE THOUGHTS AND PROFESSIONAL LEVEL ALCHOHOLISM SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED BY MAGGIE'S CORPORATE OR ANY OF YOUR CO-WORKERS.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
