My reading with Uma was a wonderful experience! She was able to relay messages from Spirit about the direction my life should take and that I should not question or procrastinate on it any longer. I am now signed up for the mentorship program! 😁 She also was able to relay messages from a few loved ones and gave specific information that was undoubtedly from those crossed. Notably, while referring to me and my husband, Spirit mentioned about tattoos. After asking if he or I had tattoos, I confirmed but did not immediately give any other input. I then revealed the hidden tattoo, that my husband and I both have, of two hearts with one arrow through them. Uma confirmed it was the image Spirit had shown her. Again, the tattoo was hidden at the time of the reading. I had to pull my shirt collar way down to show her. From the moment I began speaking with her in email, and then in person at my reading, she gave off warm, happy, and loving vibes. I am so excited to have the privilege of learning from such a grand spirit! xoxo❤️ Amanda M

I was a long time client of Uma’s and I went on a retreat. As soon as I walked into the house she asked me to pay $400 for spa services after a 5 hour drive to the house. Then she got so drunk she had a hangover the next day and we did not complete the scheduled agenda. Not what I paid for. When I approached her on this, her response was to just remove me from the group and did not take responsibility. Completely unprofessional for a wellness retreat and leader. Uma insisted we go bar hopping in town. She had a few drinks and then more at a local restaurant. This was advertised as a global goddess summit reconnecting to you, not a girls hang out weekend. The latter I would not have paid $800 in the retreat fee alone. My every need did not include to be a designed driver, but to stick to the scheduled program and to return home feeling better than I arrived. I had spent $400 on a New Year New You workshop in Dec. For a June retreat the main topic of the weekend was a 2017 review. Clearly, she had her own selfish agenda and did not take inconsideration the task at hand and used recycled material. Instead of being a professional and having a discussion, removing me from group she has also removed me from supporting the other teachers who are fantastic at the center. Due to my complaint she proceeded to also remove my friend from the group with no provocation and direct contact with her.

I was referred to Uma’s Reiki level one class almost four years ago. When I started out I was set on just healing myself but after completing all levels of Reiki and Uma’s mentorship program I knew I eventually wanted to heal others as well. Uma has continuously supported and guided me on this journey and isn’t afraid to call me out to help make me a better person, healer and human. I would highly recommend taking any classes with her!

I have been visiting Uma for 2 years now, and every time she amazes me. I've received Reiki (even during my pregnancy, which helped me tremendously), Access Bar healing, and several intuitive readings which have been spot on. She has a great energy, very understanding, and the list goes on. I couldn't say enough great things about her. I now live in MD (1.25 miles away) and I still make the trek to see her. I also attended Uma's session for my Reiki 1 Certification!

I studied Reiki I, II and Master levels at Lotus Wellness Center with Uma. She is bright, bubbly and welcoming! Her business has a wonderful energy and her teaching style is so upbeat and she is very detail oriented in her teachings. I have also attended talks by spiritual speakers and workshops. All are well planned, organized and the people who are drawn there are such lovely people. I have made several new friends and cherish the experience I was given by Uma. She is a delight to work with and learn from.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
