It's a small shop but has a very good product selection. Lots of different items. I really liked that back in December they collected toys for children. The people that work here are very helpful and not pushy. They make you feel that your business is appreciated.

I have been coming to Lightshade on Sheridan and Morrison Rd now for over 6 months. The reason, excellent service and fantastic product. The staff has always attended to my requests, the service is the quickest in Denver and the offerings are wide and varied. This store is my go to and I highly recommend the experience.

21+ to enter, the store has a minimalistic outside but a very clean, almost medical feeling interior. Glass displays held some products, and everything bought was in a child proof container, the wax even coming in a mini glass cylindrical container with a push and twist safety cap. Prices were fairly average too, about 10 dollars a gram on herb and 30-40 for a gram of wax. Employees were very helpful and knowledgeable, offering advice, descriptions, and suggestions. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and if I vacation in Colorado again, I will definitely be stopping by here.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
