Review by Rynn Jacobson

Best. Clinic. Ever. Dr. Knutson is caring, patient, kind, and calm. She listens intently to everything I say, and remembers it. She researches my disease on her own time. She takes time to explain things and tolerates my endless curiosity of 'why, why, why'. Seriously, this woman is one of the kindest people I know, and is absolutely the most caring doctor I've ever met. I am not exaggerating when I say that Dr. Knutson saved my life — and especially my quality of life. (Chronic Lyme Disease patient) I see her as my primary physician, my acupuncturist, my cranial sacral practitioner, and my herbalist. She also does fire cupping, which has been one of the biggest factors in the improvement of my health in the past two years. If there were more stars to give, I'd give them! I can't recommend Dr. Knutson (and her awesome staff!) often enough.

She is by far the most understanding and compassionate Dr I have had the privilege of working with... She is also very thorough and takes her time to make as accurate of a diagnosis as possible. HIGHLY Recommended!!!

When I came in to see Dr. Knutson for my medical needs and Elizabeth Hagen the aesthetician, for my cosmetic concerns I was very impressed with the care that they took with me. I highly recommend Lighthouse Natural Medicine.

The staff at Lighthouse Natural Medicine are very warm, informative and professional. I will be referring my brother to Dr. Knutson for acupuncture.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
