I've been in this place about three times now and dealt with four different clerks, and every single time I wind up staying an extra 5 to 10 minutes just to chat with the employees. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable on their products, and the products themselves are of both varied selection and the highest quality. Coupled with the relaxed atmosphere of the shop itself, LA Vapors truly stands out as one of the highest quality smoke shops in the state of NC.

I am from NY where everything is open late. I was unable to find my hookah tips on Christmas Eve, this was the only store open but it was about to close. Ashley was so awesome, she stayed around for an extra 10mins until I could get there! I am so grateful, store is clean, lots of options, and quality products. Ended up getting a few more things. This will definitely be my smoke shop in NC! Thanks again and happy holidays Ashley!

LA Vapors Elite Smoke Shop is hands down the best shop I’ve ever been to. Not only do they have everything you can think of but the staff is awesome and extremely helpful. My dog was recently diagnosed with cancer but thanks to LA Vapors they were able to help my best friend with their endless options for pet CBD treats and oils as well. I will continue to be a regular customer and recommend this shop to everyone. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
